I've a CY2002 model that I primarily fish with out of Flamingo or lower Biscayne Bay / North Key Largo. Fantastic boats. The Ranger hardly knows its back there.
Any pics handy? What did you do for electronics and goodies if any?

Yes, 5200 dry. This spring I'm going to get it weighed to get an estimate of what I'm actually pulling.
Yes. I suggest you do that. According to their website that trailer is closer to 30 feet not 18 and has a GVWR in excess of 7500#. You may well be exceeding the CGVWR for the truck with gear and passengers.

Blue, he means it's a 2018, model # 254RB (Rear Bath).
Overall length is 29 feet with a dry weight of around 5200 lbs with a 580 tongue weight.

OK my bad. Still needs to get it weighed as he is pushing GCVWR.

As soon as I can find a trailer for a reasonable price I'll get a hitch. I missed the fact the XLT needed the tow package to get the receiver. It was late when I got mine and asked if it had it. Sales guy said yes but was talking about bumper towing...

Not sure what would connect that high off the ground and be under the bumper weight limits.....

Steve it pulls pretty good. I do need to add something for the suspension, because it worn the inside of the the front tires a little more than the rest.

Those are quite light aren’t they?
considering it's my first truck and my first travel trailer, last year I would have told you I don't know. But what I've learned is that 5200 lb is light for a 25'-29' TT.

My Tt is 29’ and has 5250 on the sticker. It probably dresses out over 6200 though.

Good afternoon all!

Returning to the world of towing after a few years off. We have purchased a 2011 Jayco X23B.

For people who care about these things: RV GVWR=4950, Hitch Wt=450, GCVW=9960. We will have WD system and a friction sway bar.

We don't actually pick it up until May, but I have great hopes!

Take care and be safe.
