On another note. Went out and bought what I needed for my 45K oil change and tire rotation. Seems like my oil life monitor has learned I do them at 5K intervals. It's being obnoxious every time I start the truck! Now it just needs to stop raining so I can get it done.😁
My wife robbed the cradle too. But, only by a day. Worked out well when I retired. We both got Medicare at the same time. Never gave it a thought when we married 49 years ago. Does make remembering the birth days easier.
You won the lottery. Your truck is a unicorn!
You have the actual truck where they made the change from aluminum to steel knuckles. What was your build date? You think Camberg will sell you a set with one UCA of each type. The taper on the ball joints are different.
The whole thing with the steel knuckles is this. Sometime during the 2020 MY Ford changed the knuckles from aluminum to steel. The tapers for the ball joints are different between the two. If your knuckles are silver you have the aluminum ones, if they are painted black they are the steel ones...
We use to have a New Orleans themed restaurant up here in Wisconsin of all places. They did Gator Nuggets as part of their Friday Fish Fry's. Actually quite good. Yes, rather mild, the flavor more dictated by the breading or dipping sauce.
Have eaten a lot of squirrel, raccoon and deer in my...
Which of the Auto Headlight functions are not working? There are several, and they all have different conditions to activate. I agree with @RangerBill . Check for DTCs. There maybe one set that does not trip the CEL. Maybe clearing it will get you functioning again.
If you have Forscan just go into the BCM and Disable the the front turn outage setting. This will stop the hyper flashing of the dash. Not sure but you might be able to enable the front LED turn outage setting right below it and not have the hyper flashing, and still get the bulb outage detection.
This has been discussed before. The mileage is in the IPC and goes with the cluster. It can be adjusted up but not down. So if doing a swap you need to find a cluster from a truck with lower mileage.
I stand corrected. I finally found an actual wiring diagram for that Tekonsha unit. It is a discontinued item by the way. Wonder how it actually isolates the truck from seeing a load on the output by using the power from the TRM.
Not sure what you are referring to by the ZCI. The TRM will not...
The loose wire inputs are red for brake lights, green for right turn, yellow for right turn, brown for tailights and white for ground. There is also a black for 12 VDC from the battery. Wonder how he hooked that up. The module uses the 12 VDC to supply the output power, so there is no additional...
Not skeptical, just curious. I am a retired mechanical designer who worked closely with electrical engineers on machine control projects. So I have some electrical experience/knowledge. I enjoy @airline tech sometimes long and technical explanations even though I may only understand a quarter...
You are confusing the inputs and outputs of the Teknosha module. The unconnected wires are the inputs and the 4 pin connector is the output.
The purpose of the module is to take the tailight circuits from a tow vehicle with separate brake and turn signal lights (as out truck does) and combine...
I would check the legal regulations where you are about using these while driving on roads/highways. Many states have various rules about what amounts under- lighting. Some regulate colors or intensity. Some ban them for on-road use entirely. Just because you see someone doing it doesn't make it...
