Here are some pics from our 4 day stay at Camp Covington located in the western UP of MI. Colors were at there max those days. A moose was seen and heard in the woods who was planning to pass right through camp but heard us and decided against that. Wildlife seen on game camera's remain...

Some camp pics and heading back to Camp Covington on Thursday. Gosh we are having nice dry fall weather here.

We got back from Camp Covington last night and seen no wildlife on the cams. Did get trees and brush cleared and ate good in fabulous fall temps. Hope you like the pics.

I should add the wildlife movement is really down. Just this lone wolf caught on our game cams.

At camp Covington in the UP of MI over the long weekend we finally got our 4066 (JD tractor) out there to move trees n rocks. Got plenty of each! Was one heck of a nice weekend there.

Got tractor moved to camp today. I might head down a bit early since dearest will be working all day Friday. Does this tractor look like 10,000lbs to you?

A fellow with a camp 20 miles away said his game cams went quiet like ours did. Must be a seasonal thing. We are hauling our tractor down tomorrow and then we'll return for the long weekend.

We spent another wonderful weekend at Camp Covington* with moderate temps. Got lots of camp chores done there. Sorry to say, we did not catch much on the camp game cams and below, is the only wildlife seen. Animal movements seem to have really slowed down. :confused: *a camp near Covington...

At the parking lot today to spread out 3 loads of gravel.

Yesterday I cut the last tree up at the trails parking lot and moved the slash into da woods. It was the largest tree I've pushed over yet. How does one do this work without a HD root grapple? :shock: Top photo is the grapple tooth marks when it was pushed over.

Clearing trees for a trailhead parking lot expansion yesterday. Hope I am done! Maple was about 80ft tall.

Here is a few pics taken at Camp Covington located in the UP of MI. Some moose passed by and I believe these 4 are new to us. 2 cows and 2 bulls. One seems to be drinking or smelling our rain barrel. Plus our lonely, lonely wolf we infrequency see (on cams).

Headed to Camp Covington for the weekend folks. Hopefully we'll find something on the game cams. Here's a shot from this week.
