Got back from camp last night and here is a few pictures taken there. This is near Covington MI and in the Upper Peninsula. Seen yet another moose, this one seems to be a young male. The night photos were taken while we were there.
Got more camp game cam pics processed! Crane is a Sand Hill type, Yes the wolf is collared. No, we don't fear them, been among them for 30 years. Our friend puts up wolf cams for his job and says they usually hear them and look at the camera.
Camp Covington (UP of MI) pics and gee did we have a fun weekend! Guests on Saturday night and on Wednesday via trail cam. Three there that day since she had 2 calves in tow.
Good morning Ranger Camp fans! I am getting photos processed but it is a slow process for me. Here is the parking lot and ride out. It had been warm there so the tracks with a cargo sled parked, shows just how poor the 4x4 did on tires. I do have folks tell us "my 4x4 does fine in snow!"...
We skied yesterday starting at Quincy mine Hancock MI and went east. Not much snow left there since it see's much sun. Our season is winding down. Funny that sometime folks ask "isn't it flat in MI?) :giggle::D
A few ski and mutt photos taken over the weekend. With warm temps and drizzle here, our base has gone down much.. The street party is the neighbor collage kids. They've been good ones but are gradating and leaving.
A few snow shoots taken the past few days. Its warm and drizzling here today so our snow is really going down. Oh well, has been a good snow year. Top photos are wally parking lot. There civils don't seem to know they need to add space for snow storage! Our street below that and xcing.
A few photos taken over our three day stay at camp. They got between 2 and 3 ft of new snow there, but was warm when we showed up so working it was challenging. Bottom is grilled fresh lake trout.
We are heading back to camp Covington on Friday am. :D Looks like they got 27" of new snow down there is week so the 6x6 with plow will need to be brought along.
