Working on moving to our new house! Borrowed a 14'x7'x10' cargo trailer! Tandem axles with trailer brakes, so finally got to try out my Redarc TBC as well! Truck towed it great! I am very happy! Will be making a few good trips back and forth with this trailer! But should cut down on how many trips we have to take with this size!

I'm pulling a 7x12 V Nose. Curious on what your MPG was with this trailer. I am averaging 13 at 60-65. Trailer loaded with my Spyder is approx 3200lbs.

Your mileage we be the square of the sail you are towing, while weight is of minor significance.

I wouldn't say that I drove it enough yet to give a good idea! And really only between 45-60 MPH so far! I will update once I have driven it a bit more!

We just returned from a road trip and one stop put over 19 gallons in our 2019 tank. Did ford change the tank??
No Ford did not change the tank. You were just very close to fumes and wasting your fuel pump.

We finally took Elroy the Burro with the Ranger out for a long weekend to Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri from as far north in Illinois as possible. Elroy is a 1986 17 foot fiberglass camper that is pretty basic on the inside, think it weighs a little over 3000 lbs and does have trailer brakes. The pickup pulled it very nicely even with a pretty stiff crosswind on the return trip. My wife and I were both impressed with how the Ranger pulled, we have always pulled Elroy with our 15' Ram 2500 Cummins which barely notices the camper. Ended up getting around 14 mpg while towing the camper.

We love it! It has a basic kitchen, a big bed that converts to a table in the back and a small table up front that also converts to a bed. We just leave the back area setup as a bed. We only have one kid and 2 dogs so we don't need much room. It used to have a wet bathroom in it but we ripped it out, we only really ever used it for emergencies and it was kinda gross. It needs some fiberglass work that I've been tackling a little at a time but otherwise is very easy to keep up and it doesn't leak!

If we go on longer trips we take a big screened tent that sets up right next to the door for and extra room.

These old Burros are kinda hard to come by but there are more that were made by Uhaul back in the 80's as well that are very similar.

Your camper is named "Elroy" but your truck is only "Ranger" or "pickup"? Come on, give him a name! Maybe Astro? ;)
