Mowed the yard and took the clippings to the town's grass dump.
Then I changed the oil.
Out: Valvoline R&P, Mobil 1 M1-209A filter.
In: Same.
For only the second time ever I didn't spill any oil on the street taking the filter off. Finally got the drain pan in the right spot.
I'm a funeral director. Ten years ago when my daughter announced that she was going to get married I told my future son-in-law, "Remember, I dispose of dead bodies for a living."
He laughed nervously and treats her very well.
I belong to a number of weightlifting and fitness groups on Facebook...
Yes. You will need to download the free version of Forscan and get a cable to connect your laptop to your truck. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do it. You plug in the new tire circumference in mm.
I had a buddy do it who already had Forscan and a cable. Plugging in the actual tire...
To answer OP's question, I've been using the FL-400S for about two years now, usually the Mobil 1 equivalent M1-209A. It's slightly larger but since it's longer it's easier to reach.
Actually that's not "right-to-work". That's called "at will", which is most states.
Idea being that employees can quit any time so then employers can also fire them any time without cause. This does not however preclude said employee from collecting unemployment compensation which is a separate...
Thing is, I'd normally be buying a new one right now but I'm afraid a 2026 won't be as reliable as my 2020 that I've had virtually no problems with. Plus they quit making Supercabs.
Normally I'd be trading mine in about now but I hate to give up the longer bed. I had two Sport Tracs before and with the optional bed extender the short bed is tolerable but I don't need a back seat any more.
Replaced the DPFE sensor for the second time this morning. 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are back to normal. If I ever have to do it again I'm just going to leave the hose clamps off. They fit pretty tight as it is. Replaced it once before about a year and a half ago. Rock Auto, $27. Did the cabin air...
It might be apples and oranges, but I come from the Explorer Sport Trac world where the carrier bearings are also a problem as they age out. On Sport Tracs the bearing is replaceable on a 2wd but not on a 4wd, with a 4wd you have to get a whole new driveshaft. Rock Auto had by far the best...
1. No.
2. A lot. Besides which, I don't know if different gears are available for the front axle anyway. Just adjust the tire size in Forscan and the transmission will account for the larger tires when shifting.
Might not be a bad idea after 100k. I've been using Valvoline Restore & Protect for the last couple years changed every 5k so I think the internals are probably pretty clean.
I have a 2020 also and it did that at first when I bought it with only 5000 miles on it. By about 12,000 miles it went away on its own. Sometimes it was so hard that I looked in the mirror thinking I'd been hit.
