To answer OP's question, I've been using the FL-400S for about two years now, usually the Mobil 1 equivalent M1-209A. It's slightly larger but since it's longer it's easier to reach.

I have a 2020 also and it did that at first when I bought it with only 5000 miles on it. By about 12,000 miles it went away on its own. Sometimes it was so hard that I looked in the mirror thinking I'd been hit.
