Big Blue, went and checked the battery and it was good. Had a bit of corrosion on the trailer plug hot wire. Cleaned it off first. Started the truck no interior lights. Started the truck with brake on and lights! Started truck without brake then depressed brake.. lights came on. I do not have...

It does have a battery. I’ll have to check the charge. Was thinking it charged while connected. I do not get any indication that is connected other than exterior lights working as intended. I have the SXT with no BLISS or sensors. Got some homework.

What didn’t you like about it?

Phil Running, brake, and turn signals are working. Trailer brakes work fine also. The interior lights do not operate. Also, I do not get any messages that trailer is not connected or disconnected. Trailer operates as expected. What do I need to do to get the interior lights working?

Just got home. Ranger did well. Down to Hot Springs and back home thru the Boston Mountains (Arkansas). Really liked the tow mode for running in the hills. No issues and averaged 13.5mpg.

Easy 10 minute job. I followed a YouTube video instead of the included instructions. No need to dismantle anything. Get it in place (it fits. Got to finangle it) and loosely attach bolts. Clean lower tab area and apply adhesive enhancer. Pull up in place then tighten bolts. Admire!

Should be able to reuse the factory ones and transfer to the new wheels??
