It only need to be plugged it in program. I leave mine with the cord in the glovebox. You can buy the suction cup mount and use for certain readouts.
Same here, keep it in the glove box just in case

I’m here in North Phoenix (technically Glendale) but yes, I suspect I’ll be living and loving the 91 performance tune. How long has yours been tuned? Do you currently have all 5 tunes as well?
I bought mine in May 2020,and installed the tunes in June 2020.
ā€˜I do have all 5 tunes, and love being able to apply the tune I need for whatever the situation may be.

Calibrator arrived yesterday afternoon. I uploaded stock tune to laptop and requested all 5 tunes from Livernois this morning. I did talk with Anthony from Livernois and if all goes well, will be tuned up for the weekend!

Not sure if you know but if you want the auto, stop, start disabled they can do that too.

Forgot about that, you think I can just reply to my request and ask them to add it? If not, it’s no big deal, although pushing the auto stop button to turn it off every time you start is kind’ve annoying, but at this point, I don’t even notice anymore haha!

Has anyone upgraded or changed their break pads yet? It’s going to be time for mine soon and with the added tune power I think some better better stopping power would be a good idea, might start up a different thread. Please Let know if ya’ll had some good/bad experiences with different brands, having a heck of a time finding some, and trying to avoid factory :sunglasses:

You could just email them and I'm sure they'll see it in time. I forgot too but I've had a LED nightlight plugged into the rear outlet since I bought it.

When you all first downloaded the stock tune to the calibrator, did you notice anything different regarding shifting? It could just be in my head, and I know once the new tunes are flashed there is a point of adjustment the truck needs to make, but I haven’t received my tunes yet and I feel like the truck downshifted a little awkwardly, again it’s just the regular stock Ranger at this point, of course it wiped away the mpg as it’s starting over but anyone else notice anything different after they downloaded stock tune?

Sorry I can't help with that one I never drove mine after uploading it. The day I uploaded my tunes I had called Livernois to make sure they got everything and Anthony had a tune already matching mine so he downloaded it for me that same day. I don't remember anyone else having any shifting issues after they uploaded theirs.

I didn't notice any shift change after downloading the stock tune nor did any changes happen with mpg's. Did notice the time changed on the sync screen.

I actually called Livernois and apparently the mpg’s getting wiped temporarily is normal, Anthony did confirm yesterday that there were some minor changes on how certain codes read on our calibrator with verbiage, don’t know if that has anything to do with it, MPG is building up again after driving it yesterday shortly so all is good, I just hadn’t read previously that this happened to anyone else so got me thinking, Probably caused me to feel something in shifting that wasn’t there due to worry haha! Waiting for the performance tune is more torture than I thought it would be!

Tunes arrived this morning and I flashed the 91-93 performance (got all 5) and wow!! Didn’t fully get on it yet to allow a little break in period but I’m so impressed with what this little engine is capable of! I had a 95 mustang GT 5.0 with all the bolt on upgrades you can think of and 3.8 liter Genesis (rear wheel coupe) with over 330hp and I honestly think I’d get 0-60 just as quick if not quicker in this tuned ranger! @AzScorpion, I see no need to try any other tune haha!

I think now would be the appropriate time for an acceleration video/speedometer footage. Just saying...haha
Mine is flashed back to stock now, but with factory tires the 91-93 performance tune would bark the tires in the first 3 gears.

BIG surprise for all the aspiring Formula 1 minivan drivers in this area, but only if they proved themselves hungry for a small slice of humble pie. (well, I actually only did it once)

I don't know what it is about women in minivans here. Even when I had my Camaro SS with the hood scoop, red "SS" letters on the fender (we all know that red = horsepower), and an exhaust that sounded straight out of NASCAR, minivans would powerbrake at the light next to me.

With the SS a good blip of the throttle would usually make them rethink their activities before the light changed. The Ranger is just too quiet :)

Edit: Found a pic of the old girl.

Looks like an easy kill for a V6 minivan, eh?

I’ll work on getting this weekend, I’m curious myself, I was reading through some other forums and I think some have clocked 0-60 in the mid 5’s and based on the ol’ butt test, it deff feels like it.
