Please has anyone here actually used either of these tunes?

What are your opinions from those who have actually experienced either?

Ease of install, added power, flexibility to return to OEM tune, effect on OEM warranty

I am getting a 2019 Ranger tomorrow and I want to install either of these or any others who may be better.

Am familiar with diesel and also VW tunes but I know nothing about the ford 2.3 Ecoboost tunes

Any advice or feedback would be hugely appreciated

Here are some vids on both : Livernois Vs 5 Star Tuning

Palm Beach DYNO tuned mine and couldn't be happier. Truck has stock manners and pulls hard. Very similar results as both other tuners power wise. I would love to see one truck load the different mail order tunes on one dyno to see real comparisons. Temps and dyno brands make significant differences.

What about OZ tuning? I went that route because I want to flash and be done. Not switching tunes every time I change What I want to do.

I have tunes from 5-Star, Gear Head, Southerspeed and Unleashed.
Unleashed is the best hands down. Drivability is awesome, super a smooth shifting, plenty of power.

Agreed with you on Unleashed. Never heard of Gear Head or Southern Speed?

One of the reasons I went with them was that I already had an HP Tuners interface and had assigned a license to my truck. After going through the tables I did not want to spend the time to learn Ford EcoBoost ECU. The part I like is they tune for all features not a specific tune for what you want to do. Normal/sport/towing, No need to re-flash.
