May someone please point me to the link/process to do the preventative steps
  2. Rotors

    Also lube your caliper slides
  3. Rotors

Would only replace rotors if out of tolerance (unlikely at 50k), deep gouges, pulsing, hot spots. Not just because of a pad change Save yourself the money, it does not "need" to be done. If you experience something like the above, by all means
  4. Is my battery on its way out

OP, probably time for replacement, your call Mine finally needed replacement today. Hard to start first time. Had all the usual warning signs prior. 5. Is the muffler covered under power train warranty?

At first I thought this guy was yanking our chain Condensation draining/dripping is normal, the more you let it idle the more it will drip until it is warm Mine drips almost enough to start filling a glass since I am on the ethanol...
  6. Fuel additive, YES or NO..??

I use Lucas Ethanol Fuel Stabilizer since I blend E85 with each tank And once every other oil change the Chevron or Lucas fuel system cleaner
  7. Windshield rock chip?

OP- The repair you had done stabilized the crack only, from cracking further and debris/water penetrating it over time It was a structural repair, not cosmetic. Cosmetic you need to replace the whole windshield for $$$$ Yes it is a quick job, uses a UV cured resin. Price is on the high side...
  8. Rear Brake Wearing

    Any hot spots?
  9. Rear Brake Wearing

Get a second opinion or measure them yourself I found my caliper slides to be underlubed or washed away from me pressure washing it and it caused drag on the brakes and premature wear. I don't believe that to be your issue but good to check if you are going to be pulling it apart yourself...

  12. 2021 Ranger 4x4 stock height with Tow pkg questions about shocks, air bags, cooling?

OP- Agree with the rest, upgrade your shocks And good strategy to monitor the temps before modding. I do suspect it is heat related though. Not sure the cause, limp mode is concerning. Any light bars or anything like that blocking cooling or huge ass tires? I usually tow in the CA desert at...
  13. Newbie to towing with a bunch of questions!

Disagree, it does a whole lot, including stability and all the junk you mentioned above, from experience using both. For our size trucks it is not a huge difference OP just has to decide if he wants to put some air, hook and go, or mess with the attachments each time. Should try towing...
  14. Newbie to towing with a bunch of questions!

Forget the WDH A nice set of rear shocks and some air support bags (Airlift, Firestone) and you will be set
  15. Recommended service at 50K miles?

required, check manual recommended, basic - oil/filter, caf, engine air filer. Diffs, trans, transfer case. Fuel system cleaner in gas, spark plugs. Maybe a brake flush or poor man's brake flush (reservoir drain/fill). I need to look more into lubing my driveshaft...
  16. Curt Echo Bluetooth Brake Controller and Android App - anyone got it to work on Ranger5g?

I have the Curt Echo and it works just fine, can adjust settings anytime. Pixel 6 It looses connection sometimes but connects right back. I suspect not the phone or Echo, but my 22 year old trailer plug connection instead I don't use Android Auto, just regular Bluetooth
  17. MBRP Aluminized Exhaust Failure...

OP - Have you looked at Gibson Exhaust? Higher quality than MBRP and sounds great
