When I imported it into Solidworks it said it was like 80000 mm long - this one is ~ 9 inches not bad for a guess.

just spitballing this afternoon - it looks like your design hangs from the bottom of the sill piece there, if so this would capture the water running down those plastic bits. and direct it off to the sides. If it does not hang below everything, the plastic rivets could be replaced with SS hardware or the like and a couple washers to hang below and not worry about falling off.

I would have liked to add another support across the trough in the middle but got annoyed with the design. lol

I can export it into a bunch of different formats if you want to tinker with it (not sure if all the features will translate from SW well though. I like adding filets to everything lol.

Lol, pound it...

Kidding....

Yea, I have it so it sits under the plastic and metal, so suspended off the bottom. That's why you need either bolts or longer push thingees to grab it. The OEM ones are too short of course.

Did I not upload the updated one?

When will it be available to purchase:sunglasses:
Once I get through with a couple projects I have stacked up, I might be able to be talked in to printing a few. Won't charge anything more than shipping for them.... Just need to free up some time, and I'll only be making a very small number of them....like no more than 5.

Great design and I love seeing those on here with the skills/ingenuity to do these kind of things that should've been stock. Now that I live in an area that gets a lot of rain I'd be in for one if you have an extra. TIA!

Even though I haven't experienced the issue, I'd be interested in one as well if you have one to spare. After I retire, I may start exploring 3d printing....

Time, mostly. Retirement is looming, so it won't be too long. 3D printing has always interested me - I will need to learn the modeling software which will probably be the biggest challenge for me. I've dabbled in 2D software (CAD drawing for plans), but never 3D stuff. It should be interesting.

I get it - before you retire check into if where you work can get you a discount on any of the paid 3d modelling softwares. . . I get Solidworks for 100 bucks a year as a Veteran, but also from being a government employee (for private use).

I work for a bank so I doubt I'd have any discount like that. I've heard/read that Blender and/or Sketchup are pretty good and both are free and open source.

I'm not going to be creating anything terribly complicated I don't think.

I’d guess there are several of us without 3D printers accessible who would purchase a diverter if available. Look at Fitzsticks for example.
