Based on past used oil analysis on other trucks I've owned I prefer Pennzoil Platinum but supply chain issues being what they are for the past two years, I get whatever 5w-30 synthetic I can find.
Every other oil change it goes to the dealer for warranty purposes and I change it myself every 5k in between and take a pic of the receipt, odometer, oil, and filter and upload it to my Dropbox.

Amsoil every 5k for me. After I saw ProjectFarm's review of the oil especially in the cold weather test, i swapped over fully. Ran it in my Focus ST and now my ranger. Sure its spendy but i don't mind paying a little extra for oil as its a hell of a lot cheaper than replacing the engine.
If you're changing it every 5k, don't buy the Signature Series like ProjectFarm used. Use the OE, that'll save you some $.

I plan on Castrol but the Pennzoil warranty is intriguing. I also see CAM2 and Kendall have an SN Plus rated synthetic….would be cool to use something “old school”.

What ever SN+ I can find with a preference towards Pennzoil Platinum, based off UOA from my taco.

Witco Chemical sold the refinery & Brad-Penn (now Penngrade 1)was created. Phillips 66 makes today's Kendall ✌ Oil. Phillips 66 also brews most Motorcraft Oils....

Ranger PNW, if. You're using the Signature Series you can definitely go much longer. I had an oil analysis done on mine with the Amsoil filter. Had it done at just under 15,000km. Everything turned out fine. No abnormal wear tear.

Here are the specs from the 2020 manual...

Engine Oil
E142732 E276075 An oil that displays this symbol conforms to current engine, emission system and fuel economy performance standards of ILSAC. We recommend Motorcraft® motor oil for your vehicle. If Motorcraft® oil is not available, use motor oils of the recommended viscosity grade that meet API SN PLUS requirements and display the API Certification Mark for gasoline engines. Do not use supplemental engine oil additives because they are unnecessary and could lead to engine damage that your vehicle warranty does not cover.

Havoline has finally gotten around to updating the 'LifeLong' Synthetic in the 6qt box. It is now a Dexos 1 Gen 3 oil.

Still my oil of choice.
