WORKPRO Universal oil filter wrench since I am going to start changing my own oil.
  2. Second Automaker Sounds Alarm Over Dwindling Motor Oil Stock

Not gonna lie, I did just go out and bought a few more. Now I am good for (4) oil changes for the Ranger and (2) for my wife’s car.
  3. Second Automaker Sounds Alarm Over Dwindling Motor Oil Stock

Since I am going to start changing my own oil, I did go this morning to Wally World and buy oil for the next 2 changes for the Ranger, and just one for my wife’s car. There was plenty of oil except for the SuperTech brand. Almost NO oil filters though for any car, so I went to O’Reilly and...
  4. Draining oil without replacing filter

Gosh, now that I am convinced I can do it, I am looking forward to it and I plan on getting a ValvoMax as well. 😃
  5. Draining oil without replacing filter

Starting to develop confidence that I can do this myself! I have changed oil back in the day but that was a long time ago when orange FRAM was the filter to buy! šŸ˜†
  6. Draining oil without replacing filter

I had my last oil change on November 14, 2025. I then started a new position which included a company vehicle I keep at the house. I have gone a total of 757 miles since. I am right at the ā€œor 6 month markā€ but wondering if I should change the oil, let it go to 5,000 miles regardless of time...
  7. PAID UP!

I had a very low interest rate as well which really helped paying off sooner IMO. HA! Sort of thought about it. šŸ˜† When I first got my truck the plan was to ā€œassessā€ at year 2030 if I want a new one or not and I think that plan is still on the table. šŸ˜Ž
  8. PAID UP!

Made my last payment today! Paid off a 5 year loan in 3.5 years. My 2022 (bought new) has currently 38,000 miles on it. Definitely should be good to go for another 100K, and yes, I already had one transmission fluid and filter change. šŸ˜† At around 50K I will have the spark plugs and rear...
  9. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

2022 XLT Sport bought new in September 2022… currently at 37,000 miles and that is with having a job at one point for 6 months where I put 12,000 miles on it. Currently have a job where a company vehicle is provided and parked at home, and the past 5 months only 300 miles of use on my Ranger. 😃...
  10. Ranger will be parked mostly -Ethanol Free Gas?

I just started a new career in which I have a company vehicle that I have to keep at my house. Thus, my Ranger will rarely be driven. Honestly it probably won’t get more than 3000 miles on it per year unless I go on a long road trip. Anyway, it is low on fuel, should I fill it up with Ethanol Free?
  11. Mysterious Squeaking Then Nothing

Since it stopped, nothing since so I think it was a twig or something that got stuck for a bit. Just had my oil change and they do a complete vehicle inspection including road test. Nothing. Great news at 37,000 miles… 8mm left on all brake pads!
  12. Mysterious Squeaking Then Nothing

Halfway home from work I noticed this constant squeak. I got home…checked doors fully closed, seatbelt position, everything. Couldn’t replicate it so I went back out, took this video for sound. Stopped at a red light and when it turned green, the squeak never returned. Maybe it was a twig stuck...
  13. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Great to know that I have some good stuff! Great to know I have some good stuff! Really I got it for when my wife and I are in the mountains. We never do a campfire, just for if in case someone else needs it. A great way to pay it forward.
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed ƘNWRD headrest on passenger side. Only thing I have in it now is the fire extinguisher stick on the bottom. Have one for the drivers side to match. If anyone is thinking on getting one the standard size fits just fine!
  15. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Etenwolf S6 air compressor and digital air gauge. Ready for anything now! 🤣
  16. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

That’s what I’m afraid of. The thing seems to stay put so I don’t think it’ll rub unless I roll up/down the window. It’s comfy on the arm though! Talked with the owner of the company, he’s positive I’ll be fine and research reviews mentions nothing about ruining tint. I’ll try and stop being...
  17. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

********** armrest. Once you bend to fit it won’t fall off, but it does rest against the glass and my windows are tinted so I am worried about damage. May just have to the it off to roll down/up the window?
  18. Keeping Fitness Gear In Truck Bed

Paranoia time, but I’ve been keeping roughly 350# of fitness gear in the bed of my truck pretty much all the time. I know the payload is 1500# and it’s usually just me in the truck (I weigh 185#) So technically I’m good to go, or should I periodically take the fitness gear out and give the...
  19. 110K+ miles and ZERO issues

Almost 32K on my ā€˜22 and solid. Yeah the transmission acts funky sometimes but the only issue I really have is that my left front fender is not lined up correctly. I took it to the dealer but they flat out told me ā€œnothing is rubbing so we ain’t touching itā€ and I’ve never really bothered to go...
  20. Fuel Brand Preference

Used to be diehard Exxon or BP, then the last year o lived in NC, pretty much exclusively Sheetz and my truck seemed to run better. Sheetz isn’t TopTier but they are constantly getting gas deliveries so I believe ā€œfreshā€ gas is the best option so I go where 1) busy places 2) new places (new...
