I believe these final results from Project farm were all done by oil analysis, which of course is the only way to know what your engine is doing and the break down of the oil.

Totally. I just figured with a 3rd party testing who isn’t paid by any company to do any of it, it would be fair comparisons.

When I did my sample at 15k km (9000 miles) on the oil ,I had 6% fuel dilution and no trace of coolant. Truck has 83,000km on it.

I wouldn’t even tell them you’re trading it in. Work out a confirmed price with the f150 first , then tell them you would like to do a trade in. Never say what you can afford for a monthly payment, how much you want to put down etc.

Got my oil analysis back today. This is on 15,280km or 9500miles. Everything is good except 6% fuel dilution which dropped the viscosity a little. Otherwise no abnormal wear and tare. This will be my intervals now.

This amount of Zinc is acceptable for our motors. I do agree though if an oil has 1500ppm of zinc or it is definitely hard on the cats.👍🏻. No cats then the engine will love you for protection.
