The Ford required as to keep within warranty. As someone stated if you do not have a record of regular oil changes per requirement and have a engine failure then the dealer can just say maintenance was not being kept up. So dealer oil changes for me, at least until the warranty runs out.

I’ll tag on, does the engine oil run through the turbo bearings? To me that is the key. I have never owned a turbo vehicle.
Now, IMHO, dealer should have ”oil testers” and change on that reading. Of course, all the used oil is recycled, and the result is refused in some manner. I used Mobil 1 on my 1983 BMW 318i, and changed the filter at 5 k, and topped it off, and ran it another 5k, until it reached 50k, and I bumped it to 6k interval. That 4 cyclinder engin was tight and powerful.

For me, it has always been Valvoline Full Synthetic. I always try and get a Wix filter at the same time.

I did a lot of reading about lab analysis done on Kirkland Signature Full Synthetic (Costco) and Walmart Super Tech Full Synthetic (both apparently made by Warren Oil Co and essentially the same exact oil), comparing it to Valvoline Full Synthetic, they appeared on par additive package wise.

Hello, does anyone have a part number or link to a generic equivalent for the two-piece trim retainers that we're removing to get access to the oil filter? Thank you.

On mine, they are just hex head screws. No quick retainers.

OP said " I don’t want to get into a remarkably long debate but curious what you guys will be running. "

Yes. That is why I am going to stick to what Ford says to run in it. If that means staying with the factory stuff over Mobil 1; I am going to do that. Right now I am getting them so cheap from the dealer with a rotation it doesn't make sense to drain it in the driveway. That might change soon.

Second oil change for me today.
For the first one I used Fomoco 1751529 oil filter with Castrol Edge full synthetic 5w30
and today, Motorcraft FL910S and Amsoil Signature series full synthetic 5w30

I usually use Mobil 1 Extended Performance but they were out of it at my local supplier. I tried Valvoline 5w30 Extended Protection. My 2019 XLT ran a lot smoother so I've used it the last 4 oil changes & I'm happy with it. I change mine every 5000 miles. It may be over kill but I know my engine is clean.

Amsoil every 5k for me. After I saw ProjectFarm's review of the oil especially in the cold weather test, i swapped over fully. Ran it in my Focus ST and now my ranger. Sure its spendy but i don't mind paying a little extra for oil as its a hell of a lot cheaper than replacing the engine.
