Today on US 285, near C-470, RV was once a Caliber. 285 has been improved over the yrs but still can be a dangerous road, lots of section where 2 lanes (one direction) merge into 1 lane and I seen multiple times were drivers are hell bent to get ahead of every car they possibly can, even if it means driving on the shoulder at the merge point. Another road in Colorado that at times is woefully inadequate for the amount of vehicles using it.

Towing a new boat!

Oops, not that one ...

Just picked up a Whaly 380 yesterday down on the Cape.

Been looking at them for a few years - they're rotomolded polyethylene and I have some sit-on-top kayaks made like this that are 25 years old and they've stood up to quite a bit of abuse.

Whalys are popular as rescue boats and they're made in Holland. I've got a 30 HP motor coming tomorrow and have the center console and cabling to install.

We've gotten too old for our inflatable kayaks. They're really nice and perform very well, but our knees aren't performing so well (or shoulders, or backs, ...). =p

It needs some work, but is not bad. B16A under the hood helps.
Got one of those for my brother when he turned 18….but he never got his DL so we gave it to the neighbor.. great little cars

This is the 5th of these 84-87 Civics I've owned. 3rd White 86 Civic Si. Actually I've bought 6 of these, but the 1st and 4th purchase were the same car. And then we could count the CRXs and Integras of that era I've owned.

You can't understand how confused my close friends were when I ordered and followed through on the Focus RS purchase, even after Honda announced the Civic Type R.

Did you ever do a cr-v drive train swap in a integra so you could have awd?

Well, here's Tank set up and towing our Jayco. Everything I posted about towing with the Ranger still holds...it is a capable midsize truck. But I forgot how nice it is to tow with a large, heavy truck.
The Expy is great...handles the 7000 lb trailer like it was made for it. Lots of extra power and absolutely no sway and no "wiggle" when a big rig passes. Factory mirrors do just fine for rear viewing along side of trailer. Didn't even have to alter the hitch head height....going from the Ranger to Tank.....height is the same. Still tweaking a bit, but very happy so far...

All of my Civic, CRX and Integras were the older torsion bar models with the live rear axle, so swapping that to AWD is really doing to require a full rear floor pan swap. Now, if I ever get my hands on a clean RT4WD 86-87 Civic wagon.... 😈
