LTIS policy for replacing engine and transmissions is 12 months 12000 miles. So they dropped a couple of years off. Still can be repaired but they cut back the time/ mileage for replacement substantially.

Yeah , strange they removed the 3 year/36000 mile’s verbiage that was in 24-2046. Still referring to LTIS for repair/replace though. Did something change in the LTIS policy?

Technically the 1st mark on the stick would be 6.5. If so then you may be on the low end depending on trans temp .

The Unimog with it’s older fuel injection technology will be way more reliable than the 3.0L common rail fuel system in the Gladiator. Any more of these left at $8500 ? Asking for a friend.

If you mean 180-195 range then your transmission is overfilled. Should be down around 5ish at that temperature. Stone cold 1 would be fairly normal but not at operational temps.

They do work as a step. Not as good as the Tremor steps but they serve a purpose. I ordered the straight out ones and they offer a 15 degree up tilt. The tilted ones looked like the step function would be non existent.

There should be a listing for LV fluid ( tcase) and ULV fluid ( transmission). Transmission will be a large qty and the tcase will be like a quart or two.

Tcase take LV atf. Transmission takes ULV atf. Two different fluids

We noticed a huge difference in ride going from a single axle 4500 lb Surveyor to a tandem axle 6000 lb Gulfstream. Tandem axle is so much more stable. Not a huge difference in mpg either. We have a Tremor so I think the rear suspension is a little bit better than a non Tremor.

Do you have a copy of the repair order? If so the fluid for the tcase is different than the transmission. Would be listed separately on repair order.
