Hereās some pics from my trip up to Drummond Island last week. I am stock except for RCI skids, White Knuckle sliders and the Amazon quick disconnect sway bar links. I am always impressed with how well the Tremor does. Fun following the club members on 37ās and 40ās. But also having discretion...
I was on the road coming home from Florida on 03/31/22. Got home late Saturday after they had closed. Everything transpired on 04/04/22. I wasnāt worried about the few days. But I might be in 2030 when the ESP expires š
FWIW I removed my driveshaft on my Tremor without any issues. The bolts at the diff come out easy and the Rzeppa joint just needed a few taps to get it out of the pinion flange. Just remember to mark everything before removing stuff.
There can be slight variations to that though. My warranty start date is 03/31/22. But I signed paperwork, money traded hands and drove it home on 04/04/22. My suspicion was that the dealer wanted to have the sale show in Fords eyes in March or the first quarter to gain some benefit from that...
The Tremor comes with a full size spare tire, 275/70R17. What I had read was the spare is so close to the OEM diff cover that the Bronco one being thicker would cause contact issues. Not sure if itās true or not but the spare is really close to the diff. And the Tremor isnāt just a trim level...
Just curious. Would the tow rating be less for the manual? I see the Bronco with the manual is limited to 3500lbs but so is the automatic. The Bronco suspension is the major limiting factor for towing but just wondering how strong the manual is.
Thereās more parts involved besides just the driveshaft. I believe that Ford is updating to the Tremor style driveshaft when replacing the standard 4x4 driveshaft. So that also means that the pinion drive flange and nut have to be changed. Along with all the mounting bolts on both ends. Just one...
I am up here with our off road club riding trails with my Ranger. Yes, straight out in that picture is the southern tip of St Joseph island which is a just a little SE of The Sault
Ok , been a month or two but I finally got to try these out on a trip with our 24ft trailer. I had mounted them and did a drive with them when I got them and I thought that they would be great. They are absolutely great. No vibrations, large clear viewing area and solid in mounting and...
OP was talking about the front drive shaft on the 4wdās. Theyāre Rzeppas on both ends. The 5G Tremors have the Rzeppa at the rear diff also. Regular ujoints at the transmission output and carrier bearing.
