Towed this today, endwalls and rafters(dont know if that is the correct name?) Who holds the roof on a friends garage. Not alot of weight, but a good sized trailer. 25ft long and 8ft wide ?

Filled it with treetruncks for firewood on the way home, but forgot to take a picture

I would love to see some actual yellow sheets from Catscales of you guys pulling these really long travel trailers. I notice a few simply quoted what the RV manufacturer lists. Hate to break it to you but for the most part those numbers are make believe- catscales dont lie!!

I’ll have to dig up the yellow sheet but my last weigh in (last Sunday) was a total of 11,740. I have a 2019 Super Crew XLT Sport pulling a 29’ Grand Design Imagine 2600 RB with a propride hitch. That was a full tank of gas and fully loaded with all passengers. Trailer was fully loaded too.
Pulled it from Dallas to Hot Springs AR. Got about 9.5 mpg going 62.

What are you guys getting for tongue weights? That seems to be my biggest area of problem. Tx Jones yours interests me. The main trailer I have been looking at is the GD Transcend explor 221rb.

Drove to Georgia last week to pick this up. Im blown away at how well the Ranger tows. And yeah, 9.5 mpg sucks... but you get that all the time with a diesel.

I've seen those types of trailers quite a bit this summer. What type of food you selling out of that food truck? haha

Sliders and skewers mostly, and heah. Weve been discussing it for the better part of a decade, and had planned to be running beginning of the year. Covid has made it real interesting though.

I bet it has. In one way I feel like food trucks have been the way to go since it's essentially an outside restaurant, so the risks are pretty low. But with all the other restrictions I'm sure it's still pretty difficult.

For me at least, I've been hitting the food trucks around here more often than usual. I still don't feel quite as comfortable with eating inside at a restaurant still, even though we've done it a handful of times, so food trucks have been a great way to get good food without the risks and are usually quicker than getting take out, though we've also done that plenty too.

Good luck with your business!

So just did our first towing trip. Over 3000 miles, 4000-4500# tent trailer. From LA to Yellowstone, to Mt. Rushmore, and back home over the Rockies through Colorado home to LA . Averaged about 14 mpg, on 91 octane doing 75 mph most of the trip. Also truck is on 33's with leveling kit. No issues, truck did great.

Nice! That sure seems heavy for a tent trailer @4-4.5K lbs. From the angle I can't quite see how large it is.

Wife and I are considering a rpod rp202 @~4500 lbs. She likes the idea of closing the bathroom door, if I snore.

Anyone running this and have input?

I don't think they make a bigger tent trailer. Has everything full, bath, micro, fridge, oven/stove, double Sink, A/C and sleeps eight.
