What do you guys have to say about splash blending a gallon of E85 in a tank of 91 (CA E10) to avoid knock? Especially in hotter weather. 18.9 gal tank
Recommend? Stay away? Indifferent?

Likely not much affect even if the initial fill was 17.9. Why bother with the effort? Let the motor figure out what octane you are running. I use the term "picking the fly shit out of the pepper". At the drag strip...maybe a slight help...quantifiable...not likely...
