In that you can join mustang club of America for $50 and get X-Plan, you should never pay more than that. So X-Plan or below or you're getting screwed. Should shoot for below invoice - rebates and use X-Plan as worst case scenario.

I have 26K OTD for an 21' XTP, 29k OTD for an XLT and 32k (working harder on last one) for an demo 21 FX4.
I like the XLT color, Cyber Orange over the Blue, but if ones Red I may take that one...
The XTP I thought was what I wanted but I figure for a few grand more, get what I can get. I want the bigger Sync 3 screen and might as well take the other refinements in the XLT and FX4 in terms of 4x4, 360 Safety stuff, etc.
I have to say I'm impressed by it though, I went in thinking I want a bronco, but hell, the bronco I drove sucked!
I can't believe I'm really on the tail end of buying my truck and getting out of 2 seat roadster life. I enjoyed buying old Miatas, and just keeping them but I need to do more stuff and the miata just can't, though it is a very healthy compromise IMO. Plus someone cutting my tip was the last straw.
To think I have two Miatas, and no truck, heh.

Just purchased mine last Monday.
Total came to $39,490 OTD.
2019 Lariat FX4 with the Ford Performance package Stage 1 (Fox level lift, shocks, wheels/tires, etc). Had 10,190 on the odometer when I rolled off the lot.
They wanted $42,000 and would have "given me a deal" financing through them
but I gave them 26k cash and my trade in ('14 Fusion highly modified) and which left me to finance 7k that I did through Navy Fed (that will be paid off next week).
When comparing to the 2020 and newer models, I couldnt find one that had every single option, including Lariat, for under $41k with all of the rebates. Not to mention - inventory is slim pickings as it is so the dealers have little to no wiggle room.
