Stage 3 has a great guide on YouTube following there way i was Able to do both sides in under an hour, no hubs, no rotors, just pulled the brake caliper off dropped the lca put a crow bar in to seperate the lca and bam slid in new suspension easy.
Yeah it’s def the wrong one, the stamp is weird though. Because there leveling lift kits say trail down the side, anythign with street from kw/bell tech is a lowering also just pulled up the leveling kit and lift kit trail series and it’s stamped with 25021 i wonder if they screwed up the...
Yours say street down the side, those are the street performance series so you don’t have the right part I’m assuming it’s the f150 because it looks likes this.
Edit: also the ones on your truck are 2.5 not 2 like the trail series i can tell that from the photos.
.
Figured it out!
They’re not the correct part, the leveling kit or lift kit ones say trail on them like this see attached photo.
the street performance ones you have a lowering kit for the f150.
You don’t have to, lol idk why everyone has issues, it took me 15 min per side. Literally loosen the sway bar up at the frame mount, loosed tie rod and the suspension will drop enough to get the old one out and put a little weight on the lca to pop new one in and bam zip it all back up and go...
Lucky you get bump stop support rings, i bet you also have 6 tie downs in your bed too, lol yeah they stopped putting these on at 8$ a piece a cost saving measure nobody would notice.
Hey just as a heads up, that’s pretty normal looking, Toyotas don’t use an “active bump stop” they use a pretty standard stop which is rectangular in shape, ford uses “active” the bottom is meant to flex up before hitting the hard part of the bump cone which has very little give. A lot of people...
Wildpeaks at3w best AT tire I’ve ever used in snow or rocks, sand could be better, but i put 50-55k on my fj which had 1200 lbs of armor on it. I’ll be going with them when these oem hankooks run the course.
Yeah my 21 had it, at 10k now, switching to a single peice driveshaft has helped, but sometimes when under top range boost it likes to act up.
Rental mustang had it, I have my theory that it’s gotta be something to do with transmission being over built for the 2.3, because the bronco they...
Yeah this is a save up and get a pro pdr, someone good can remove that with zero issues, it’s easier to make it worse if you have zero experience. Cause as soon as you crease it you're looking at replacing the entire roof panel.
Yeah i just Followed the YouTube guide from the company i bought It from and have had zero issues, maybe they’ve worked through the issues on a ton of customer complaints and just found this to be best solution. ?‍♂️?‍♂️
but there is always a solution to make a cheap cover work ? can’t complain...
The thing is getting close to the truck as possible to cover a majority and the other issue is the strip isn’t made to go into the side divots that is in the bed, you’ll need to either fill those or live with them.
see below the holes I’m talking about.
