I had no issues with stock sport wheels (+55mm) with 285/70R17s with a 2.5" level and 1.5" Spacers. Ran them like that for 60,000 miles, never scrubbed once. I did unbolt and remove the crash bars.

Recently I have installed 315/70R17s with the same setup, trimmed the corners off of the fender flares and removed the honeycombs behind the fender wells. It does scrub before full lock. I ordered some steering rack spacers for now until I decide what I want to do next. There is about a half inch before the steering stop contacts when it scrubs the crash bar mounts.

Plug in the factory wheel-&-tire dims from your Ranger XLT door placard as Tire 1.

Plug in the factory wheel-&-tire dims from Ranger Raptor door placard as Tire 2.

There's no easy formula when it comes to suspension, wheel offset, well liner, and crash bar mods.

Visualizer tools will help you avoid major fitment mistakes. Just take accurate clearance measurements on your current setup -- before you commit to an alternate tire package.

Lots of wisdom here. Does require some patience though.

Best of luck.
