Check for all the files. Not sure if that has finally been worked out or not. Thanks for the inquiry and reminder . My 2020 came with the SYNC3 version. Just checked for updates at: How to check your SYNC software version | SYNC | Official Ford Owner Site
A software update is available.
Your SYNC system will be updated to SYNC3 v3.4.20282
I will be doing the update tomorrow and then inform is there are any glitches or not.
Probably eventually. They usually delay until enough installs have been done manually to convince them they won't break a bunch of trucks over the air. Will this update ever be available over WIFI ?
Thanks Mike, I think im going to wait till then. I still have my heater and seat warmer controls and would like to keep them. Thanks BretProbably eventually. They usually delay until enough installs have been done manually to convince them they won't break a bunch of trucks over the air.
You might have better luck in a forscan thread...Does anyone have a screen shot of their BCM file configuration for turning on the position lights with the DRL's? I tied into the position lights with my raptor grille lights and am having trouble setting it up for some reason. I thought I had it and turned on the parking/turn lights and it screwed everything up. I just want the positions on with the DRL's. Anyone that has tweaked these settings knows there are several items you can configure within the DRL light set up....TIA

I haven't done the update as of yet but attached is a screen shot of the unzipped files from the download. They are the 6 files that appear under "Name" on the right side of the File Explorer screen. Are these all of the files that are needed?
You did check in the sync folder for the xml, not the top level? Assuming it's not there, stick it back in and go for a drive. So I updates my 2019 Ranger Lariat yesterday and got back the climate controls, so no complaints there, but the file to upload to owner.ford.com never got written to my USB stick.
Is there a way to get it after the fact or is there something else that I need to do to tell FORD that the update has been completed?

Thanks for your help!
Ironically, when Quantum released a QNX demo floppy image in the 1990's, it was partly to show they could fit a full network stack in their user-interactive RTOS w/GUI in less than 1.44 MB.Apparently. I don't have familiarity with QNX since my experience is with networks and data. It isn't an issue.
