Hit or miss, yup!
I've really never had a problem with my 2019 Ranger.
This time, the USB update never finished, after 1 1/2 hours - I gave up!
I tried downloading/new USB and the truck wouldn't recognize it.
So, from reading here, I went to Cyanlabs and made a new USB
I pluged it in, and...
Well shit, It's probably just me, but I don't see any humor in any of these last few posts.
They're interesting, but shouldn't they be in another thread or something?
Bosch.
Yup, me too.
I'm not sure they really last as long as others, but they really keep my windshield streak clear for many months (I don't know about years).
I generally replace wipers every year.
Probably a waste of money, but I don't care. I want the wipers perfect when I need them.
I...

"Well if you are wanting to buy it I will sell it to you for $1000 just for the little bit of attitude you want to show(don't worry, I'm not trying to sell it anyway)."
Sorry, I didn't intend an 'attitude'.
I did say it was 'cool' :)
I do own a couple of generators; a big...
Heh, OK, "A neat find".
A small generator, handy for small loads (like power tools on the back 40, etc).
Cool.
How about the rest of the story?
How much?
Does it run?
OK, hand raised, I use them all the time.
I have a strap across the middle two tie downs that hold many daily loads toward the tailgate.
The boxes, etc.. can't shift forward.
To me, they're very convenient.
Yup, wire brush it as best you can, and get a spray can of fluid film to touch up those areas periodically.
That's what I do on my 2019, and it looks new.
Just my $.02.
I got my aluminum one at Harbor Freight, many years ago at a reasonable price.
Just big enough for a cooler or so (not the 4-wheeler ATV size).
It's served well.
(I TRY not to block the Lic Plate, but no problems over the years with the law)
Yea, I sort of do the same.
After reading many threads here on the subject, I tried 93 vs. 87 (no 91 around me), even though it cost A LOT more! And I have NO aftermarket tune, just factory.
The truck loved it. Quite a bit more 'peppy', and milage/gal went up (not enough to offset added cost...
Yes, also thanks for the info.
It's good to hear that the Ford website's version vs. my truck's version shouldn't be a concern right now.
Hopefully, SOMEDAY, Ford will figure out how to do all this update stuff, without confusing us costumers.
Thanks again.
Well, I read this thread, and you guys made me look!
I found the same as Radioman; Truck says 3.4.22251, Website says 3.4.23088.
(AND the site doesn't give me any way to download 23088 to a USB, to update truck manually)
So, I'm adopting the attitude of others - if it ain't broke... worry about...
Yup.
I have a 2019 Lariat: read the posts, got concerned about it, sent 6 samples to Blackstone Labs over 3 years, they say a little gas in the oil, and today everything's fine so far.
Drive it.
Worry about something else.
So, if you want to know what the hell is going on, instead of governt perferred means, you're going with XM? OK. Not me.
(and I do recognize Smith&Wessen, although I prefer Colt)
Yea, yea, AM is obsolete.
NOBODY listens to it anymore, except a few dinosaurs.
Got it.
But, I'll miss it because listening to the morning news on my commute, without all the OPINION on other sources, was refreshing.
Just another thing lost to PROGRESS. eh?
I think it's a shame.
I've had a CB in my vehicle for 30 years.
I can't tell ya'll how many times it's saved me from traffic jams, and radar traps.
I'd love to install it in my Ranger, but, after 3 years, I still can't figure out where I'd put it in that small console area. ?
I've got a pretty good 0-60 tire pressure gauge, and the truck's TPM is generally about the same.
I will say, especially this time of year, ambient temperature swings can cause my tire pressure to vary by 5 degrees morning to night.
Yea, I take the TPMS with a grain of salt, but it's good enough...
