When I received my Fitzstick the tab on the funnel was broken (no obvious damage of squished box or anything). Emailed about it to Fitzmotor, and poof - a new funnel a week or so later. Folks, you can't get better pride of service than that! A great product from a man that gives a shit. Pretty...
Yup, I've used a snow brum for many years. And it's never scratched my paint!
I think this one is like mine; but my handle is not adjustable.
Just my opinion.

Yup, 1965, USN, Norfolk VA; renting a boat to fish what they called the 'back bay' for mostly channel catfish.
Got a moon pie and rc cola at the rental dock, every time.
Loved them, but, for some reason, haven't had them since those times.

I tried 'from the top' and broke my 3/8" universal.
Then removed front passenger tire/rubber flap and had all the room needed to get in there with a socket and breaker bar.
Piece of cake after that!
Yup, that's how I got mine out.
(I also had tried the extensions from above with no luck)
Took the wheel off and had plenty of room to go in with a 19mm on a 1/2 in breaker bar.
Done.
OK.
So, I have to PAY for SiriusXM/Traffic+ for my factory Sync Navigation to help me out with traffic delays, where with every other offering in the market I get it for free.
Got it.
Thanks for clarifying this for me.
(The other options are looking better all the time)
Thanks for the reply Frenchy.
But it really doesn't answer my question.
Let me put this another way.
Garmin & Tom-Tom & others get traffic data over the air from some national broadcasting entity that updates them about traffic delays, etc (I don't know who); and they'll generally ask if you...
No, I'm still confused.
My question is: Does the Ranger's Sync Navigation get it's traffic info from Sirius Traffic Link/with
Traffic+ ($50-70/yr) to reroute us due to delays ahead, or does it get it's info from somewhere else, like my wife's Tom-Tom does.
It's a handy benefit of these systems...
Yea, I'm sure your right, (not counting deisels over seas and what not?)
I just wanted to imply that he should have a good market out there, and all the best to him.
Well, you folks talked me into it; I ordered and installed this Fitzstick, and I think it's the best thing I've done to this truck, if for my peace of mind, if nothing else.
As predicted, removing the factory plug was a problem.
That sucker was stubborn :curse:
I also wound up thru the wheel...
I have the same cover, it's made by BAK.
Here's a link to the strap replacement kit, although I think it's cheaper at other places than Amazon.

I also have a 2019 Lariat, bought early 2019, and only because I had no idea what various 'tech' options even meant, let alone if I wanted them!
Because, after the salesman explained all the options; in exasperation, I said, OK give me one of those, in that color, with everything. That got me a...
Thank you for all the answers regarding the license plate and ACC.
It seems either brand grill insert should install and work no problem.
Thanks again, you folks are great!
Daymn, I thought I was done buying stuff for this truck!
But that lower grill insert seems like a good idea.
So, I have a couple of questions for you folks:
To those with the Putco insert, do you have a front license plate?
(I ask because the website says I might have to relocate it, and I'm...
