Before doing prep on my window trim, I decided to clean and wipe the interior down. While I wiping all the plastic down (with 303 of course) I noticed this.

I'm guessing its the seal on the back window? At least I'm hopping it is, and not the roof seam.

I would not think the roof seams, that's a really weird place to start leaking. Check the 3rd brake light too. I have heard of those leaking.

My first guess is the antenna as its above the window

A wider pic of the stain would be helpful
The stain is in the corner. Nothing around the location of the antenna, but thats not to say water didn't run along roof before showing its self in the corner. I'll try to get a wider shot later.

Just curious @seasprite , do you use those touchless car washes? They use such high pressure, I wonder if water might get past the seal or even push it out of place.

I have my own pressure washer and do my best to keep from getting to close with tip of the sprayer. I have been questioning my self if I got to close recently and for life the of me I can't think of a time I got close with the sprayer.

Went and took some updated pics I'll have them posted up in a few minutes.

I had the exact leak. Took to dealer twice, twice "repaired". They changed out trim pieces, resealed and checked antennae and shark fin. Still leaked after second attempt. Plus they smeared black sealant and put small dents in the roof from tools or leaning on the roof. Fed up, angry and determined not to take it back, I caulked the trim edges with clear silicone caulk and it hasn't leaked since.

I'm curious, what do you do to remove the water staining on a headliner?
I used lightning fast stain extractor from the chemical guys with a damp cloth after. A few cycles of this will completely remove the headliner water staining.
