Those guys are usually from central america. You want your ranger to run with no dpfe sensor or whatever its called, and no turbo and no computers, they can do it!!! Dont know how but they do it all the time. Our junk is their gold. After driving across America, they then drive all the way through mexico!! We worry about gen-y hitches, they just make it work. Not very safe, but they live with limited resources in third world countries and are engineers in their own right. I actually get impressed with their ingenuity on making anything run completely bypassing every module and computer in the car.
But, it's got a Texas tag....so are you implying that Texas is actually a Third World Country ?????

The plates probably a Chinese knockoff. Also note what appears to be a bullet hole in the tailgate. Lots going on in that picture

Last I checked Munising was getting more and Ironwood area might be as well.
I’ve heard the Soo has gotten 24” and expecting another 12”. Down here by GR we’ve been stuck under heavy lake bands all day 9+” so far.

I use a checklist whenever embarking/disembarking and the wife goes over it as well, still hard to believe that people forget to retract the slide out , but apparently it happens more frequently than one might think.

Hmm you would think that you would see it in the mirror? But maybe the people who leave slides out don't check their mirrors either.

Well, you know, they would, but it was poorly designed and there's this thing obstructing their view, so the mirrors aren't really useful...

6 x 12 utility trailer loaded to ~ 3500 lbs. Towed it across the country with a 2021 F150 and about 150 miles with the Ranger. Truck handled it very well and was comparable to the F150 in driving characteristics. Will calculate MPG when I fill up today.

I would not be against RVs with slides having a slide closed switch added that has to be in closed position as part of the brake interlock to remove the RV from park. Or a tow behind, if the brake lights are activated and the slide is not closed sound a horn, and then use the 12V from the 7-pin to lock the trailer brakes until any open slide is closed.
