Has anyone came up with a way to LOWER the rear end by 2 inch? Most here seem to raise the front end to ”level” the truck, but I want to level it by lowering the rear. Why not just raise the front? it too hard for this ole‘ guy to get into the cab now!

Yes Beltech makes a lowering kit. It involves fliping the axle to above the springs and is a minimum of a 4 inch drop. And can go to 5 inch. Some people have lowered the rear by having the springs dearched. They had issues with the springs breaking. A few threads on it.

What about a longer or shorter shackle? Have no looked under the ranger much but that has been done for decades. Should work fine. Might only get an inch but every little bit gets you closer. Slightly smaller tires could get you closer too.

No, that won't work. The springs are directly below the frame, not offset from the frame as in older vehicles. A longer shackle will raise the rear, a shorter shackle would not leave any room for spring flex.

Yeah it can be done, you can de-arch the spring, I had the local spring shop de-arch them 1.5" it was cheap, $130 I think, but I bought the global Ranger multi leaf spring and de-arched them not my Tremor springs.

You have to shorten the bump stop as well, you should also check the current driveshaft angles and be prepared to adjust the angles after lowering, a 2 degree shim is what I used.

And to make things worse, all their advertisement images show the truck without that defect. Like they are deliberately trying to pass it off as if the defect doesn't exist.

Well duh, that is because in all the pictures the bed is loaded, we just can't see it due to the other defect, the high side walls of the bed.

You need a bit of patience, but age and gravity will take care of this for you. As for your truck, I got nothin’.

Age and gravity only takes care of it on the left side where we have a full gas tank and a typical fat rider sitting all the time. ?
