  3. Roof Trim fail. I hope this is an easy fix

Mine did the same thing on passenger side front piece. Was in dealer for my 2 recall notices that I keep blowing off. Just 400 miles left on the first warranty so they’re covering it. Was told the whole thing is an assembly and has to be replaced.
  4. Right turn signal indicator on dash flashes fast.

Isolator is a low voltage internally led driven relay. So supply side and output side are totally isolated. Works much like a mechanical relay but low voltage (20 ma) to a normal relay coil that uses more juice and would most likely throw the factory sensing of faults into an error code or hyper...
  5. Right turn signal indicator on dash flashes fast.

It’s pretty well known on here that “splicing” anything into the factory harness will result in erratic behavior. It the additional resistance the BCM senses that there are issues that need to be addressed. Factory approved accessories or not! You need an isolator on each tap to keep this from...
  6. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Covid or Politics!]

They asked for a paint job and said to be creative. It’s the only color scheme that fit for this one!

  8. Back in the Day

Pretty sure gas cap on those was behind drivers side tail light
  9. Fox 2.0 Rear Shock Issue

If it were me I would get cheap-o’s or put factory take-offs back on, send them both back to FOX and let them pick up the tab for shoddy shocks. No reason to be needing a rebuild that soon and they know it.
  10. My research into the 10R80 shift strategy

Funny this post happened. I was talking with the guy that rebuilt my old Rangers tranny 4r44e. I asked him about the 10R80’s and if he’s worked on any of them. He grinned and said he expects to see more of them. As delivered the clutch packs aren’t the greatest quality they shed as they wear and...

  12. Update on Updating Sync

Just used Cyanlabs and updated to Sync 3.4.23188 NA from Version: 3.4.22251. First impression is dark screen stays where I set it now. Time will tell on the rest but I got a good feeling about this one!

But did you see or hear from Dave!? 🤣
  14. Having trouble updating Sync

This last upgrade is the worst yet! Been doing them since 2020 and I have 4 issues that I never had before. 1) Won’t let you select night mode for default. Keeps switching back to auto as soon as truck is turned off. 2) Phone app does not update. Says I got a 1/4 tank of gas when it’s full. 3)...
  15. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Why not make a PDF document that you can edit as you get feedback and post the document here on 5G. That way you can save some paper! If you need the conversion from some other format let me know and in a very short time can have that for you. Edit: if we pay him with PayPal send it as a gift...

  17. Bleeding brakes

Personally I go 6 years and then bleed the system for a flush. Brake fluid is hydroscopic so in that amount of time even in a sealed system will see some degradation. After the bleed I would also do a Forscan ABS bleed too. Can’t hurt.
