But there is a minor performance and mpg hit over the long term. I might be a little particular with these things tho. I mod for efficiency. Not because I think its a prius but because I am a bang for the buck kind of guy.
this is a crazy problem. Sounds the the dealer screwed something up or the short that caused it to pop into 4L also fried the PCM. I have had one PCM fry in the past. All my fault and it caused so many issues.
I too would attempt the stiffest first. Get the most change for your money and dial back as needed. But starting with shocks will make a huge difference OP. Try it out
A lot of people who drive rwd vehicles are used to oversteer and the ability to rotate mid turn with the throttle. Understeer imo is dangerous and causes plowing. Oversteer offers a crisper high speed manuver if you are prepared for it. I also liked mechanical lockers on 2wd trucks in snow...
Put 1000 lbs in the bed. It will lower it down.
But seriously nose up for a trailer is preferred. Depending on load you are towing the angle of the trailer can be a lot more. I would not tow a travel trailer nose up but a lawn mower wont make a difference.
I would be careful with JB4. They intercept and change specific signals. I would not help anyone install this on their vehicle unless I really didn't like them. 60k goes pretty quick. I just waied for that. By changing signals you are over fueling and running excessive EGTs which typically...
Diesel have many more exhaust clogging emissions devices than we have now as well. I am sure oil spec changed for that. Rotella is typically cutting edge for diesel requirements. But do your own homework before your cat clogs up.
I called the OP out a few times. I beat the living snot out of all my trucks. Its a wheel barrow with an engine. But I still take care of it and am not plain dumb. Based on the first post it was obviously abused and neglected plus it made little sense. Im guessing very young possibly...
I did it because I dont like limitations. But I respect them. Plus it was an easy box to tick on the tuner. Tires are also a limiting factor over time.
