  5. 7-Pin Charge Current Data

I know we need to be careful not to draw more than 50% of our alternator's amps while running, so I'm thinking we should easily be able to install a 50amp DC to DC charger. . As it is now, a 12v 100ah battery with 20 amp charger would take around 5 hours driving to fully recharge. . Of course...
  6. 2.3L Ecoboost on Conventional vs. Synthetic Oil

Thanks, No, 6,000 miles would be my second oil change. I never got an alert to do my first oil change, so I never reset it. I have a total of 6,000 miles since I bought it new. I don't drive much.

  8. This Truck Sucks!

My truck is 2 years new and just barely have 5000 miles. ?
  9. Tire Pressure ?

I understand that. Maybe the thinking is bigger wheels need more air. That is correct. But the air pressure can be less with bigger tires because they have more square inches meeting the pavement. If 100 pounds is supported by 1 square inch, you have 100 PSI. If you have 100 pounds supported by...
  10. Tire Pressure ?

Old thread, but I wanted to add a little more. Larger tires have more surface area. Per Square Inch. PSI 1 square inch at 35 PSI has less load capacity than 2 square inches at 30 PSI. Skinny bike tires may need 90 PSI, and big wide tires may only need 25 PSI. 100 lb woman on a ¼-in Stiletto...

  14. Does no one make an over-the-cab topper?

Yeah, I posted the wrong video. The one in my later post is just for the wedge camper. That one he says is 265 pounds.
  15. Front hitch receiver?

Could someone get this dimension? It's from end to end of the square stock
  16. Does no one make an over-the-cab topper?

Before he added all the stuff inside, he said it weighs 265 pounds. Here's the video for just the top.
  17. Does no one make an over-the-cab topper?

Yeah, that one is too complex and elaborate. I like this one better.
  18. Does no one make an over-the-cab topper?

I've been on the search for building my own wedge camper. Most all I have seen have built the frame out aluminum with welding. Most my career has been working with wood, so I have searching for diy builds using wood. Only found one other than this one, but I really like how he did incorporate...
  19. Bed CAD file, dimensional data or blueprints?

I only found two threads searching, and both have zero replies. There's a CAD drawing out there on the interwebs somewhere, and I had it to draw the camper on top. But I can't find it again. Gas cap is on the wrong side.
  20. Does no one make an over-the-cab topper?

Oh, and I don't want to go the camper trailer route, because I want to be able to tow my boat too.
