If you need to pull a little out, the dipstick is designed to fit a 3/8" poly hose, cut the tip of the hose at an angle and you can push it down the dipstick to the pan and pump some out.
Some have used a electric pump, some have used a manual pump, I use the cheap harbor Freight hand pump, it...
Hey Cole,
The fluid level difference between a stock ride height and a leveled one is very minor.
If it is showing high when it's hot on level ground, take a little out, or set it to full when you put the PPE pan on, don't be terrified about anything putting a deeper pan on!
Well, I went down this rabbit hole, I have ordered all the parts to do this upgrade.
It started because my truck has had a FEAD chirp since new when hot, my trusty dealer gave it the "no problem found" a few times under warranty, then the last time they sprayed belt dressing on everything...
I will toss in a few thoughts on the differences, the underside of the RR is really nice, I was all over one and it's more like a Bronco underneath, no leaf springs, it has a proper Watts off road rear suspension and it's on road manners should be a ton better than our trucks.
After spending...
Those are nice, I was just working on one a couple of days ago, the whole frame with the Watts link rear end is really nice, reminded my of the underside of a Bronco!
Nice upgrade!
The rubber around the stock carrier bearing in my opinion is there to absorb the out of time motions of the driveshaft, with the U joints not timed/phased the shaft naturally rotates in an elliptical pattern. (or a jump rope pattern)
I tried filling in the area around the carrier bearing, it...
I just need to get one close to me, I actually have found a local one to rent, not sure what engine it has yet, I also tried Turo, where people rent their own vehicles, but nothing was close enough to me.
Hey, it's at the forefront of of my efforts, it's tough to get vehicles to use, I have had a topic over on the F150 forum for a couple of months trying find a truck near me, no luck up until a few days ago, we'll see how it goes, they are quite a ways away from me.
So I had the idea, the person who created it was Msfitoy, he did all the design work!
The only thing I have changed was the lip to hook on the cowl, I made it shorter, I had a few people snap off the tip of the funnel trying to hook it on the cowl, I should have included "slide funnel in the...
I think I have had a total of about 10 different color funnels, the original yellow ones, many different blue ones, a couple silvers, I even tried transparent colors so you could see the fluid through the funnel. (they don't print well at all)
The problem is whenever I find a brand/color that...
Thank you very much! I still say.. it was all the support I got from everyone here that kept me on task, in the early part of development, I almost gave up, I had tried so many different ways to shape and hold the shape after it heat cycled on the vehicle, I had tried every possible adhesive...
Oh damn, what search pulled that in?
The power of the internet is amazing, I don't know if it's coincidence, but I left this morning to walk the dog and I came back and there had been 5 orders placed in about 45 minutes!
Thanks!
Here is a extended dipstick option if you are interested:

Except I'm on vacation at the moment, I will have more in stock in about a week!
Hey, I'm sort of on vacation, my daughter is getting married, I'll be back on the 27th, I will get back to work right away, I should have more inventory by the next week.
I don't really have any form of waiting list, please check the website the first week in April!
Thanks,
Mike
Last week I lined up a 2025 I can use for mock up, it's a time consuming process, I hope it goes quickly, most likely will use the stud at the back of the left valve cover as a mounting point!
