Has anybody installed one of these on their truck? Does it open all the way up for full usage of the bed or do you have to remove it?

Have one on my tremor. Haven't had any issues with it so far. They say it's a tri fold, but really operates like a bifold. 2 panels fold up, but if you want access to the top third of the bed you have to take it off. Thats pretty easy though, as it's just tied down to the rails using 4 hand crank screw brackets.

Yeah it is a flush mount. At the front they provide a good piece of weather stripping that fills the gap. Word of note that they don't do a very good job of advertising is that it doesn't work with the drop in bedliner because the drop in bed liner goes over that lip at the front. A spray in would be fine. Only thing I've noticed is that at the two front corners a little bit of water gets in. I'm talking like 6 drops in a downpour kind of thing. That might also be user error as I think I cut the weather strip a little bit to short. I'll take some pics before I get to work tommorow.

thanks! - if its not to much of a PIA,,,,,, can you shoot a picture of the latch portion - ?? what holds it shut? easy to open and close? can you open / close tailgate easily? is it hard to get the cover off and on & realigned if you need to remove it to carry something big? and maybe corners by the tailgate? - mine just doesn‘t fit as well as id like mostly due to the curve ford put on the pastic pieces. i just want to see if its worth the money to upgrade from the one i have. the bakflip looks food also but pretty $$$$

Aligning it once taking it off is super easy. I just marked with white pen where the brackets with the knobs go and just stick it back on and line those up. The install instructions say to fold the cover back etc after you check that it latches, but I always found its way easier to just line it up then open the tailgate and screw it back down.

THANKS!!!!! those are better pictures than the ones on the websites..... that helps a lot im still deciding if its worth the cost to upgrade from the LEER trifold one I have. it was the best one I could find at the time its pretty good as is and I even paid extra for the canvas one it fits pretty well and does look pretty good ---- but I like the low profile look quite a bit. I was wanting a solid one but there weren't many choices out there when I got the truck a couple years ago and the ones that were around were all more than a thousand

thats the one Ive got now -- its not a bad one I just like the lower profile look.

I like my Rough Country trifold hard cover, I did look at rollup but have a fear that over time the cover would bind in the track and would start having issues.

sounds about right. Still a good price.
I think so. I feel like it's a good value for what it is. The only thing I would highly recommend to anybody that buys it is to go to Home Depot or similar place and buy nyloc nuts for the mounting bolts. The mounting hardware consists of a bolt and an aluminum clamp to clamp the cover to the underside of the bed rail. I found the threads in the aluminum clamps easy to get buggered by the bolt, and they would then loosen and fall off. So I backed each clamp with a nyloc nut and now the bolt wont loosen from the clamp and they haven't fallen off since. Even during some rough wheelin'.

This is from before I installed the rack on the truck.
