I just used mine, and it was a great experience, all things considered.
I bought the Ford EXP on the last day of my truck's warranty. A couple of weeks ago, my truck was taken out by the fan clutch position sensor issue that effects some of these trucks on occasion. For $100 deductible, I got...
Damn. That sucks yours doesn't have them. I think it could be retrofitted to yours but I'm not sure the juice would be worth the squeeze. The materials could be sourced for cheap, but you'd have to drill drain holes for the rear of the rails and fit the drains.
Just for clarification, my drain hoses looked clear, but the gun was actually in the canister where the drain hoses plugged in.
But that doesn't sound like it's your problem! On my cover, similar but not exactly the same as yours, I also have smaller rear drain hoses attached to the rear of...
I don't have that exact cover, but I'm thinking the one I have is probably made in the same factory. Do you have drain hoses that extend down from the "canister" the cover rolls into? One time I realized mine was leaking really bad, and I ended up cleaning a lot of gunk out of the train tubes...
I have this hard-rolling cover, and the price on it is phenomenal. I bought mine back on May 25, 2020, and have had ZERO issues. That's amazing because this cover is about $850, and similar covers usually cost about $2,000!

I have mine set to power down when the truck is shut down. When I first hooked up my camera, I had a dying battery, and my Auto S/S wasn't working. I recently had an issue with my...
Do you have a bad cable? Mine is running fine set up like this.
Also, does yours have 5 minutes of run time after you shut your truck off? When set mine to shut off with the truck, it runs for 5 additional minutes before it shuts down.
My wife's new Bronco Sport battery is already bad at 4,000 miles. From my experience, Ford's warranty process dictates recharging the battery, and their threshold for bad voltage on a battery is really low. It's frustrating because the symptoms will still persist, and Ford's warranty fixes will...
It's so damn easy to use - just plug it in and go. I fuse-tapped my wife's Ford Escape for the camera before we traded it for the Bronco Sport. I could never find the right circuit to run the camera in parking mode. And when I pulled the camera wiring/fuse-tap to put it back to stock for the...
Or, as I mentioned before, if I see abnormally high numbers that indicate a high probability of bad internal wear, it might be a clue to head to the dealership to trade my vehicle in on a new one!
You see a lot of people treating it as voodoo science, but oil analysis is an established method...
Oil analysis is not some kind of new magic. It's old science and in regular use in many industries to predict wear and abnormal wear on engines. Those "in the know" can look at an oil analysis and tell you things like, "You have a cam lobe skipping." based on the numbers because of their...
Ahhhhh. Yeah, of course. But, if you have a really high amount of iron, copper, and lead in your oil analysis, after the normal engine break-in period, it's a good sign that you need to start looking at something going on in your motor. So, the Blackstone service can act like an early alarm in...
