ive got same issue as OP and the michelins are where im leaning I just didnt want to give up the look of the hankooks event though I am on the road almost all the time I still like the look of the hankooks
yep its like a 1500 non returnable gotta live with it for 4 year thing. I keep researching / pricing and then forgetting about it for awhile but getting to the time where thats not gonna work much longer
same --- I am really impressed by how long the stock ones have lasted nearly 50k Im considering the continental HT tires or Michelin LTX / defender tires just haven't decided yet -- I like the off-road "look" but dont do off road much other than dirt type roads once in a while so I will likely...
sounds like your rotors need to be turned or replaced........ even if just done they could have been done wrong ---- a high spot causes that it won't hurt anything but is pretty annoying id take it back and have rotors checked again maybe rotate tires to see if that changes anything (out of...
nice - if you can put pics up to show where you ran power and where you tapped into??? I also want to add one to mine I wish there was already power up there - dash cams are pretty common now
if thats what you want to do go for it!! --- BUT a paid off 22k mile truck that you say you occasionally need.... ????? wow that is nice. just sayin if you need it now and then, like it AND its paid off, why not save that payment money for a few months or even like a year THEN get the Tesla...
I use a hitch extender for the bed for my 12ft Hobie and it is a PIA to load unload and get down to the water I love the trailer idea - so much easier than loading / unloading to move it to water about 80 lbs and bulky with no real hand holds on it - little trailer is the way to go if you can
has anyone tried the continental HT tires??? they look decent and are supposed to be about the same as he Michelin defender ones I dont do much off road and its getting time to think about replacing
im at about 40k on stock hankooks and still legal tread no wear bars showing yet, these are the longest lasting OEM tires ive ever had its the FX2 pkg..... not sure what ill be replacing them with probably highway terrains since I dont go off road much....... BTW the only complaint on the...
nice!!! I love discount tire - its always either there or Costco waiting for a good sale on michelins or continental HT ones im rarely off pavement ... those look good
I found a different way: jack up front end, swap front tires left to right then swap front and back on each side --- that way you use only two jacks and they wind up in the right positions its worked well enough and pretty easy to do without a lift took a minute to figure out but it works.
double check the warranty coverage --- I believe seat belts are covered longer than normal 3/36 esp in ca --- maybe shoot some of the wd40 silicone down there???? its plastic and electronic safe and doesn't smell as bad as the regular wd40
thieves need REAL consequences the whole "insurance will pay for it so its ok" attitude law enforcement / courts / politicians seem to have is absolute BS -- I hate thieves. work for things instead of stealing from those of us who do work for a living! -- sorry man, hope you can get it sorted...
they didnt do the window reset -- my dealer didnt do it when they replaced the battery last year either glad you found the solution hopefully thats the only thing they missed!
well since ford says transmission and differential is good for like 150k my thinking is just replace every 50k or so and should be good or better than average anyway. I plan to keep this truck for awhile it does what I need it to do pretty well -- I hadn't thought of pumping out and replacing...
I bought the stuff last week - I went with the motorcraft 80/90 it was in stock and pretty inexpensive. My dealership had two of the plugs in stock - on their computer the top and bottom are both the same part number --there they are in the picture if anyone wants to see what they look like...
