I don't believe NA 2 20 is available on USB, only OTA.

There are 9 map chunks, and 3 voice languages (if they push them all). It takes a while.

Took two days for me but I kept going out and cycling the key. I think I read in the owners manual it would continue to download for about 30 minutes after it is turned off. (For the map to update to NA 2 20, OTA)

I have a 2021 Ranger that remains at NA119 while some other users have reported they had updated to NA220. This despite me having

• done a manual update obtained from syncnavigation.com through USB, and
• checked for Over-The-Air updates.

I started documenting my exchange with the support team of Ford syncnavigation.com in comment #106. Here's an update:

I have put a call into my contact with ALOM that works in conjunction with Ford to see what is going on. As soon as I know anything I will let you know. Anyone with a 2021 vehicle has a whole different system with the maps over the air, so not sure if that is what you might be seeing.

Then I received this:

So Ford got back to me and the answer is no, there has not been a release of any new version at this time. When it comes out it will be NA 120. No indication at this time when they will be releasing it.

and this:

... for your vehicle the most up to date version is the NA 119

So this is what I understand:
@BGDOGY in comment #55 and @tmcolegr in comment #86 have both managed to install NA220 because they have a 2019 model.

The next update for 2021 models should be NA120.
Possibly the same for 2020 models since I've read some owners were not getting the NA220 update.

I think some folks are confusing the sync update and the NAV update. My nav is at 1.19, so that matches what Ford says.

This Sync update is only available for download off the Sync website. Maps and voice will update OTA.

Update: I am told the Sync update is now also available OTA.

Incorrect.. my 2019 has updated to the newest version of Sync and now updating the nav to 220 all completely OTA in the past couple of days... still downloading/installing the map files but the version changed to 220 this yesterday.
