Hm. I have an Oct 2020 built truck with 18K miles, purchased end of March 2021. I wouldn't say it has harsh shifts, but it does sometimes like to camp out in 7th when it should be in 4th, and I tap the accelerator to get it to shift.
I just had it in the shop to replace the HVAC actuator and...
I have the Eibach pro truck 2.0 on the rears only. At the time it was about $200, and I installed them myself without a jack or lift. I can still tell the front is a bit soft on the road, but overall it helped a lot to even out the ride on the road.
I thought it was a foot, 5' vs 6', but either way probably similar. I've had mine loaded up pretty good, but I guess it's like a gas, it expands to fit it's container. :)
Yeah, sheet metal screws for the badge? That's some horse xxxx.
Welcome Joe. I have a 2020 Lariat. And, the rims are upgraded, so we paid for those ugly wheels! I actually like them, too.
Did you ever mention what the carfax damage report was for?
I know I commented in this thread, but not gonna read 15 pages again.
I'm shocked, but I guess not shocked at the f-150 dumping scab in Lariat trim. I searched far and wide for my scab lariat, bought it on-line and drove 3 hours to pick it up. I don't have kids, don't need 4 doors, and wanted...
I'm curious why you can't get LEDs that are bright enough now a days. I mean, the comments about getting a big relay are valid, and if you already have a bunch of small relays and the regular incandescent lights, then it will work as you show. But, there are 'better' ways to go about it...
It's been cold AF here for a week... I've never really driven in really cold weather, and when I set it to blow at the floor, I could feel the heat, but when I reached down there I didn't really feel it blowing out like you'd expect, it was just sort of warm down there.
Over the years I've...
Lightly used 2020 Supercab Ranger, the true unicorn of the American truck market. $100,000, and I'll include the very desirable tonneau cover, free of charge.
Given that the market for high dollar trucks is down the crapper and dealers have to give them away might make that change. Seems if they had a bunch of 40K trucks on the lot it would be better than taking a bath on 80K trucks. Who knows.
Wow, that's pretty wild. My rough calculations, based on 300K/yr, 350 work days, 24 hr/days is around 850 cars/day. That's nuts. That's full round the clock production so not sure they do that, but still.
Makes sense. I had a 2003 BMW that must not have had this option, because in the summer when it was humid, the vents smelled like ass and feet. I took to the dealer a few times and they just sprayed anti-funk spray into the system, so I eventually just put a spray nozzle on a can of Lysol and...
I'm 62 and bought my Ranger in prep for a move to our retirement house. I had a Toyota PU years ago, and then got into cars cause we were using the truck less and less for camping and hauling, so it was just sitting. As we ramped up to start hauling stuff to the mountain property we needed a...
That's a shame. But, since they aren't going to make a PHEV Ranger then I probably wouldn't be in the market anyway. Maybe they will do something smart with the Maverick like give it real 4wd and put the PHEV in that and then I will buy one of those.
Took it in today to get the hvac checked, and the 2 recalls for the scab. They ordered parts for everything, actuator, seatbelt and headrests. I had checked the seatbelts and they were fine, so I assume they are just replacing all the recalled stuff regardless.
They said they'd start with...
Within the past month, I noticed a click behind the dash sometimes when I first start up. Sounds to me it's in the area behind the display, but hard to tell. The first time I didn't do anything, and since then if I hear it I'll raise the temp setting and it will go away.
It's a 2020, Oct...
When you're not driving.
JK, I have it, but I haven't been off road, and like said above, I wouldn't be paying attention to it if I were. Maybe I'd get somewhere safe and stop, then check it out.
