Yes.How long did you wait?
Did you exit the vehicle for 5 minutes with the key off before restarting?
Edit....Ok, it's working now. I wasn't getting a signal.

Yep. Used it before. Not a problem with loading just unzipping the file. Fails on the same file, with both downloads. Think the source is corrupt. What version of Windows?
I assume your USB flash drive is formatted for ExFat, not FAT32.
Windows 10: After downloading the zip file, right-click on the zip file>Open With>Windows Explorer
Ok, as they say " Third time's the charm". Downloaded the file the third time and it unzipped and updated. Now Ford won't accept the XML file. Crazy system. What version of Windows?

If you have WIFI at your location, connect SYNC to it, then Search for Updates, it will say its up to date and report the successful update to FORD.Ok, as they say " Third time's the charm". Finally got WIFI working on my home network. Reported I was up to date. It appears that if 802.11r is enabled Sync will not connect via WIFI. When I turned it off on my access point, it connected with no problem. I think I saw an article somewhere about this issue with Ford not adopting 802.11r.If you have WIFI at your location, connect SYNC to it, then Search for Updates, it will say its up to date and report the successful update to FORD.
