Big improvement over the old Frontier.

Don't think I'll go running out to buy it though.

But I will give them kudos for a climate control that uses rotary KNOBS instead of tiny and nigh indistinguishable BUTTONS.

And did they almost out and out steal the wheel design from the TRD Off Road?

People Say the ranger interior looks dated. That looks dated before it’s even left the gate.

I dunno. Seems super generic looking.

I'll agree the exterior is Taco-ish. The interior is odd in places. I think Nissan should just give up all together on trucks both small and large.

Meh...

Body is an improvement but very Yodaish.
Interior is very Nissanesque with a Chevy like center stack.

It looks so much better than before. I like the interior color accents.

But Is There Factory Installed Dual Tailgate Diapers? I mean Pampers? I mean Tailgate Dampers.

Absolutely -- that was the first thing I thought too :D
Fiddly climate buttons was almost reason enough for me to get an XL instead of XLT.

When building a 2021, I asked if I could downgrade just the climate control on an XLT so that it has proper no-look tactile controls, but that wasn't an option unfortunately.

Ah another "lets make our truck look like a spaceship". Good thing all these companies (including Ford) can all come up with unique ideas. Even the Ranger appears to be getting ruined in 2022. This generation Ranger and probably the Tacoma are the last trucks to look like trucks. Everyhing else looks like an SUV/VAN with the rear chopped off for a bed. I won't even put a pic of the honda Ridgeline up as its always been the ugliest thing on the market.

Even the venerable Blazer got turned into a Honda CR-V clone...

Agree, it looks like it could wear a bow-tie or GMC badge. I'm a car-guy so I'd go drive one for kicks and give it an honest critique. I love wasting sales peoples time on extended test drives!

With C19 they just photo copy your lisc/insurance, slap a plate on and send you on your way.

When we tested the 2020 Escape we had it for nearly the whole day! Wife drove it, i drove it, my 17 year old son drove it [like he stole it] in sport mode. i think we put nearly 100 miles on it, which is what she usually drives on a normal work day, I like being thorough. They were pretty cool b/c I bought the ranger from them and ended up buying this one. The sales mgr. was messing with me as asked if we 'went on vacation'..as he smiled.

Well except for really the front 1/8 of the truck it looks like all the rest.
I had the last gen for 12 yrs and loved it. I wont run out and buy this one as I am rather fond of my Ranger!
BUT, did you see the Utilitrack system in the bed!? ? That one single feature was AWESOME! No worries about "I don't have a tow hook right here" - they can go almost anywere. Really the only thing I miss now.

And yeah I am not crazy about the looks.... But everybody has their taste

I think it looks sharp. I’d probably consider one of these when I was shopping for my Ranger. Both have the styling, performance, and utility of what I am looking for in a midsize. It’s be nice if Ford started advertising the Ranger (like is used to) instead of just seeing Taco commercials...

I like it. I’m glad Nissan finally updated the Frontier! I wouldn’t buy one tho.
