189k on my 05 frontier, hope my ranger does as well. I miss the track system in the bed. And that’s it.

It does kinda give off a Taco vibe, but I like the interior.

I don't hate it. But I think it lacks originality. The 2020 Frontier with the same powertrain does 0-60 in 9.3 though. This truck won't be particularly nimble like our Rangers.

At least the grill will look attractive in the rearview mirror.

I like it. Would've considered it if it was out in 2019 when I was shopping. Might be good for potential Ranger shoppers because competition will drive incentives.

Personally I think it's hideous....Looks like a Silverado mated with a Taco! But I've never liked Nissan trucks and always thought they were the ugliest of them all. :puke:

I think it looks good. I have always had a soft sport for the frontier, even owning a Tacoma and a Ranger.
I have been hearing good things about the new 3.8 and the 9 Speed combo since it was released last year in the final year of the gen 2 frontier.
One thing I saw mentioned on a video about the reveal is how similar it looks to the Nissan Warrior concept they released back in 2016. Looking at the Lower chin, Wheels, and Fenders you can see the styling cues carried over.

The exterior doesn't look terrible. Not sure why they wanted to follow GM on the front fenders or red tow hooks. The copied Ford's mirror cut out doors on the first gen Titan so no surprise there.

Respectable, but boring compared to the present--and especially to the future--Rangers!

Car and Driver runs instrumented tests and had the 2020 Frontier at 7.3 sec in 0 to 60, some folks are perfectly ok with na v6 engines like offered in the Tacoma, Colorado, Frontier, Gladiator.

What I think Nissan should have done... stripped their existing truck down even more and cut the price by another $5K. Plastic everywhere. Cheap fabric seats. AM/FM Radio only. No safety features beyond antilock brakes. Steel wheels. 2WD with a std cab 2 seats only. I want that truck for less than $20K.

There's a market for trucks like that. People who need the cheapest thing they can get with a truck bed to beat the shit out of.

I like it. If that was available when I bought my Ranger I would have taken a look at it. The 2018 Frontier Pro-4x I had was a pretty nice truck. My biggest issues with it were the underwhelming fuel economy and the 5 speed automatic was all over the place in mountainous terrain. I really liked the track tie-down system in the bed and wish the Ranger had something like that.

If the new Ranger wasn't available when I purchased, I woulda bought one of these. I would never even consider Tacoma and their overhyped BS!
