  1. CACTUS GREY Ranger Club Thread

Hey Andy. What brand of rock sliders do you have?
  2. Sway bar quicker disconnects (no modification)

I've been meaning to give an update as well. The bushings are definitely the weak link and deform rather easily. I installed mine before a road trip with another vehicle from San Diego up to Williams, AZ. It drove fine and was quiet. The next day we headed down to Peach Springs and paid for...
  3. 5280Ranger Build

Out of curiosity, have you found the need for a front locker with all the off-roading you do? Or has the factory BTCS worked well enough?
  4. Sway bar quicker disconnects (no modification)

Mine are sitting on the workbench, ready for installation. The factory links have been removed for the past 7 months. I can't wait to try these. I'm tired of wallowing steering feel.
  5. Sway bar quicker disconnects (no modification)

No, it's not necessary. I ran without my sway bar end links all winter through many offroad trips. The sway bar stays put.
  6. Motorcraft spark plugs pre-gapped at .025"?

Wild... I triple checked mine. All four plugs were .025" 🤷‍♂️
  7. When you learn something a bit new

Interesting. It told me to drop my tire pressure down to 28.
  8. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Changed the oil, the spark plugs at 60k, and changed the transmission fluid again. All was good. The transmission fluid is 5k after the first, when I installed the PPE deep pan. Of course, another 10oz of Lubegard Platinum was added.
  9. Motorcraft spark plugs pre-gapped at .025"?

I was looking at that as well. I just wanted to make sure that there weren't any new recommendations. Thanks.
  10. Motorcraft spark plugs pre-gapped at .025"?

I received a set of Motorcraft spark plugs from RockAuto that I'm planning to install today. Part # SP-594 or CYFS-12Y-RTS, Iridium. I have confirmed these are the correct ones. Everything I read states the Motorcraft plugs are pre-gapped and ready to go. However, I have checked each one, and...
  11. Sway bar quicker disconnects (no modification)

I thought about that too. However, the Ford part number for the end links is the same for either knuckle, so the holes must be the same diameter.
  12. Sway bar quicker disconnects (no modification)

Thanks for showing that these work! Do they clink or make noise at all?
  13. Anyone have Issues with the Window Molding Fading

Does eBay list moldings for the Super Cab? All I ever see are the 4-door versions.
  14. Anyone running airlynx? Looking for feedback

Interesting. I wonder if they would clunk and make noise if that's the case. The problem with removing and reinstalling end links at the trail is that you need a fairly level surface or you end up fighting the bar trying to align the holes. Plus, you are rolling around in the dirt to get it...
  15. Anyone running airlynx? Looking for feedback

I'm seriously considering these. I removed my end links a few weeks ago for a couple offroad trips through our local mountains and deserts. It was a HUGE difference in compliance, ride, and comfort. However, on-road handling is not ideal, particularly if you lightly saw the wheel back and forth...
  16. Rear leaf spring issues?

Keep in mind, everyone, these are not the US factory Ranger mono leaf springs. These are the Global multi-leaf springs off the Rangers from Australia.
  17. Rear leaf spring issues?

Yes, the other end is out of alignment in the other direction. It's the same for both springs. The Global Leafs have a type of U-shaped alignment guide in the front, but they aren't very snug and allow the lower two springs to misalign.
  18. Rear leaf spring issues?

Hey everyone. A couple of years back, I changed out the stock leaf springs on my Sport XLT 4x4 for the more compliant Global leaf springs. Along with the Eibach Pro-Truck-Lift Stage 2R, the Global leafs made a huge difference in the ride and lifted the rear of my truck another 3/4". Lately...
  19. 5280Ranger Build

I'm using the Bullet Point mount as well. I really like it so far. It vibrates slightly, but it seems to be the engine vibration through the tray it's mounted to that's causing it.
