I find the EV technology interesting but the lack of range and infrastructure plus the charging time is a no go for me. I would be more interested in a hybrid Ranger. Maybe some day the technology will give enough mileage but for now it’s a no.
As a person who makes a living as a Locomotive Engineer, I’d have to say no the “horn” being put on a vehicle, why not sirens like the Police or emergency vehicles? They have a purpose and it’s not a toy . This is a free and great country though, do as you please.
Curious as to what others considered as their second choice behind the Ranger. Mine was a newer F-150 . I put over 300k miles on a Taco before I bought the F-150 new and it was a good truck. The full size was good too but I wanted a midsize truck again and the power on the Taco’s was lacking...
I’ve made a couple of trips over 600 miles each way and lots of trips through the Mark Twain National Forest with varying terrain. I have no complaints on seat comfort, the rear end can be a bit stiff on pavement and washboard gravel roads .nothing too uncomfortable though but room for improvement.
Just got back from joy riding, 8” of snow took 4wd to get started but could drive around in 2wd easy after that. The traction control works really good, matter of fact you have to turn it off to have some fun. I really like this truck.
