Thank you for your sound advice. I would caution all to heed it. The Jayco weighs in at 6223 lbs with full fuel tanks. I try never to travel with more than 5 gallons of water in the fresh water tank. I would like to get it weighed the next time I load for a long trip.
I have found on our trailer that I need the full fresh water tank to get the tongue weight where I need it. It will cost you about ten bucks to get your rig weighed at a certified truck scale, but well worth the money and gives you peace of mind.

Yeah, you need to know where your tanks are and how their fill level affects trailer balance and tongue weight.

You can't leave us hanging like that. Please tell us the "user error" story.
Apparently the hitch wasn't fully seated, it looked like it was all the way down and locked, but apparently not. I was coming down a steep hill and I heard a "Thunk" then BAM as it rear ended my bumper. Thankfully the chains kept it attached and I didn't send a pontoon through someones house. Definitely will not make that mistake again. I have a Fab Fours bumper that will replace the stock one.

Glad nothing bad happened other than needing a new bumper. Thanks for posting as this is a good lesson for all of us that tow a trailer.

@PowerstrokeNC Nice trailer! That is what I'm looking for. Can you post details here?

I'm looking for overall length, weight empty, payload weight, and inside measurements

I was looking at one that could hall my 2008 Mustang, but those are just too heavy, puts me right at the 7500lb limit.

What are you using your trailer for?

Thanks!

It is actually my brother's trailer I am borrowing it to move some stuff. 7 x 14 covered wagon brand. It is right around 1800/2000lbs unladen if not mistaken.

Here are some specs:
