I found another connector behind the mirror. I had surgery recently so I'm a one arm man and this isn't easy. This looks like either a 3 pin or maybe a 5 pin. Is the mirror dimmer connector that I should tap into?

Those connecters for the 3rd light are junk. I broke 2 and then decided to cut the ends off and hard wire them. Works great.

same for me, one side went on fine but the other never did. Agreed, this was the hardest part of the install and I broke the connector trying to get the wire in. I ended up just cutting all wires and connecting them directly. Been working fine for over 18 months.
