It definitely happens at low rpm when the trans probably shifts a little too early and the rpm is in the 1600 range.

Water in the spark plug wells should be incredibly rare unless they are washing the engine down on a regular basis. A random miss that this might cause would trigger a "Check Engine" code, not a drive train failure event with the little orange wrench.

I have found on our trailer that I need the full fresh water tank to get the tongue weight where I need it. It will cost you about ten bucks to get your rig weighed at a certified truck scale, but well worth the money and gives you peace of mind.

I use adaptive cruise all the time and really like it. The only downside of using adaptive cruise is when you get in your old (2004) Mazdaspeed Miata and set the cruise you have to then pay a lot more attention to who is in front of you.

We really like it. We are working through a few warranty Items but as any NuCamp owner knows, they are super focused on getting any issues resolved.

Nucamp Avia at Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Tx (still closed for tours). Weighed the rig at a truck scale. Trailer axles came in at 5500 with 40 gallons of fresh water. Tongue weight is just under 600 fully loaded.

I have found that if I come to a really smooth stop the system will not kill the engine. If I want it to work all I have to do is brake in a way that causes the truck to rock just a little bit. Works every time.

The tow tune is really good for towing, but always uses 2nd gear, so the shifting is a little rough. It does have to relearn the shifting every time you change tunes, so give it a tank or two.

I had the same problem with my 4x2 and much worse on my FX4 which was totaled in March. I changed out my rear shocks to Eibach and that has made a massive difference. I plan to change out the front shocks as well since I feel the front bouncing more than I used to. This is not a cure for bad...

I am pretty confident that the Ranger is all steel except for the tailgate. I don’t have a magnet available, but the F150 body is the only aluminum body truck Ford produces. Worth your time to do the magnet test.

You might check the cover behind the rear view mirror. Mine rattles like crazy every once in a while and stops when I poke on it.

The led is inside and lights up the clear plastic ring.
