Haha luckily when we built the house I had a super crew super duty with an 8’ box, made the garage to fit that truck. So plenty of room for this truck. Really not that hard of a climb for my 5’2” wife.
The Ranger averaged around 16.7 or so, of course to get any performance out of the EB you have to be in the turbo. I don’t have great real world numbers yet but in mixed highway/city driving home from the dealer the 150 was at 20.1 or something like that.
Said goodbye to my 2019 Ranger Lariat today, she just wasn’t quite enough truck for all the things I needed so I got a 2023 F-150 XLT Heritage Edition. I think she’ll do everything I need, plus that Coyote engine! Already getting better mpg than the Ecoboost.
I've been wondering that too, we had a loaner F-150STX with a 5.0, pretty barren for $51K. Couldn't wrap my head around that price point and no technology. Had to use an actual key to start the thing. Seems like the flagship of the fleet should come standard with push button start and keyless...
Not the best pic but got the tires installed, so far so good but I may have noticed some rubbing at full lock, will need to investigate further when I have some time.
The factory Hankooks are about shot at less than 24K miles. The truck has the Ford Performance level and I've replaced the factory crash bars with the Ready Lift intrusion bars. After many searches I believe that 265/70/18 tires will fit with no further modification but it looks like it will...
Sounds like you shouldn't have any problems, I tow a 2K steel flatbed with a john deere 3025 on it with implements attached and it weighs in at 5951 and tows just fine. You will definitely need TBC with that heavy of a trailer.
I have a 19 Lariat and I have yet to use the heated mirrors but my girl lives indoors and here in NC icing conditions are pretty rare. I do utilize the homelink but just for the garage door opener. As to the running boards I find them useful but I'm vertically challenged as is my wife. All...
So far so good, the only issue I have had is the light switch on the gas prop for the rear window. It sometimes moves or gets moved out of adjustment if you aren't paying attention when loading larger items. Easy enough to put back though.
