If it has the 1.5L turbo keep an eye out for fuel dilution. Honda bought back our 2021 CRV with only 3600 miles on it. 15% fuel dilution on the oil sample. They admitted that driving habits (short trips/engine not warming up) were the main cause. Sales manager said our salesman should have had a discussion with us about our driving habits and recommended a different vehicle. Honda has done some improvements to the 1.5L regarding this issue but it’s still prevalent. That being said they were very good about it and gave us full purchase price for it on a trade for a Passport.Drove it to the local Honda dealer and traded for a new CRV. It’ll be my third Honda in as many years and I fully intend on running into the ground with many hundreds of thousands of miles as I did with others before it.
Originally was waiting for a new hybrid Mav AWD, but for the same/less money I get a (in my opinion) much nicer vehicle, especially when it comes to the interior.
I only had 27k on the Ranger, but the bucking/surging/stuttering/odd noises were just too much. It was time to move on.
Wife hated the Ranger anyways- so happy wife happy life, right?
