Also while I was wiping it dry I noticed the Ranger logo beneath the tail light lenses and let out what was apparently an extremely loud growl of approval a la Tim the Tool Man Taylor. My wife was not as excited as I was about it

The not so fun part! Cleaning the mud off! Took 2 hours and multiple sessions!

Roger that..I live in the woods ..have to pressure wash twice a week! Gotta luv that clay...

Filled up with 93 octane last night and drove about 220 miles today.... What a difference, I'm sure it'll get even better after a couple more tanks also. But definitely crisper throttle response with less low RPM hesitation. And I picked up 4 tenths of an MPG according to the trip meter, while driving more aggressively than normal

Accurate product information and promises kept would have helped assuage the situation.
I am told that I might be halfway to delivery, but every dealer stock truck delivered causes me to look askance at every promise made.
I am beginning to wonder now whether my indifference will ever match Ford's. At that point the purchase experience will taint the ownership experience enough that a day of enjoying my truck may never happen.

If you can find a stock vehicle with the options you want go for it .. I made it very clear to my dealer I ordered from that I would not play the waiting game .. after Ford pushed my delivery back for the second time I went out and bought one identical to what I ordered

Good advice, but, as nice as they are, I just don't want a gray Lariat sedan with an FX4 package.
I don't mind the wait as much as I mind Ford's new found apathy and deception.
I guess I just felt like indulging myself in a little whining. My thanks to those who tolerated it!

Thanks, (mine's a 2WD STX coupe) but that just supports the impression that Ford doesn't care about customer orders.

Installed the TruXedo Lo Pro™ today.......What a Cluster Fork........LOL But got it done in three hours..UGH

If you are looking to install this great cover, you should know there are a few things one needs to do first before the install of the new rails. Rangers need brackets. Comes with six but can only install four, There are six clamps and i used them all. A rear bed rail must be installed first, It is sealed between it and the bed rail
Each step comes with its own set of instructions while the main instruction set is not brand specific. It is an "overview"

Hauled a 5 ton heat pump (300 lbs) then thanks to the nimble handling and reverse camera, backed up next to the building and with the help of 3 other dudes lifted the unit onto the roof. My Ranger has definitely been earning it's keep everyday since I got it
