    I installed Eibach Pro Truck Sport Shock set at 1inch, pretty much leveled my running boards leaving a small rake for when I actually haul or tow. Looks better than stock and the ride is much much better. Very pleased

    I really didn't intend to go that far but reached the point of no return LOL. There's a drainage ditch behind the big stump, probably leave it there to hold the bank.

    The plastic cover is what moved on mine. OP's looks like the cover has been removed. I think he would have to cut or remove & install aftermarket to gain space there.
