Spent yesterday and today running around town doing errands. LOVED IT!! Went to Lowe's and the Ranger hauled it's first load!

Since OH finally got with the program and changed the law requiring front plates (goes into effect in June) I went ahead and pulled off the front plate and bracket. Much better looking front end now

Wow, 36 and 42 years! Congrats to both! We just hit the 10 year mark, and we're happily looking forward to growing old together.
We enjoyed our Ranger by going out to a bunch of our favorite rockhounding sites (and a few new ones). Lots of unimproved roads, rural highways and byways, with some interstate cruising for good measure. We did a total of about 850 miles over 2 days!
We really liked the ranger when we first picked it up, but we found more reasons than I can list to love it this weekend. Highlights are all-day comfortable seats, better than expected gas mileage, and great HVAC controls.

I took mine in to have the Ghost Shield installed. It is a self healing clear paint protection film. I had them do the basic kit which is the front end, including lights, to half way up the hood and fenders. This will keep the stone chips and bugs, from tearing up the paint. They give it a 10 year guarantee, and lifetime install guarantee.

Took my boys (5 and 2) out for a spin through some trails near my place. The 5 year old loves it but it was the first time for the little guy. We hit some pretty good size hills, bounced around some rocky areas, and both boys approve of the new truck.
