I put $7500 in a new transmission fund. I finally quit worrying about the transmission. Odds are 75% or more it won’t explode, but if it does a new transmission is less than a new truck. I also can use the $7500 as a legal fund if the dealer tries to avoid the lifetime powertrain warranty...

So much "F that" in those numbers. It's why I haven't been to AZ since 1988.

I haven’t had to replace the transmission yet, but did have the HVAC issue, replaced driveshaft / rear differential and twice the rear rotors had to be replaced for warping. Hard to sell me on the best reliability title 😂 The motor has been the highlight of ownership. Hard to beat the gas...

My truck has been parked downhill outside everyday since I bought it. I guess I’ll find out soon about the spark plug issue. Just hit 88k and plan on getting plugs replaced at 100k. Zero issues that indicate I need to replace sooner.

Pretty much every truck made around 2019/20 and newer is a crap shoot. Modern vehicles are junk. When the trans explodes on mine I’ll be looking for a low mileage truck no newer than 2017-ish.
