Absolutely!!!!!That is ridiculous! Yes, they should reimburse you to buy a battery elsewhere.

Have them take one out of another Ranger. Better yet, let's all meet up and go grab one for you.The replacement for warranty has to be Ford Approved and that isn't going to happen! It will be interesting how many hoops this turns into. I have a great Service Guy and I will wait to see what he can do.

geez ford service just flat stinks. i had a wally world battery go bad a few years ago with less than a month left on the warranty for the battery. they didnt have one in stock so the gave me one that was in stock that was a more expensive battery than the one i bought. no charge.HA!
If you only knew how many batteries for Fords I have bought and I am all too familiar with a Tow Truck.
SO here is the best part. Batteries are on backorder. NO ETA! The plant that makes them is on strike. How long will it sit? and when do I buy my own battery?
I can relate - a few years back…….Had to call Ford Roadside Assist, pretty quick response too. The battery finally died at 2.5 years old and just over 11.5k. Warranty should cover all this, and then I picked up a Ford Battery Charger.

What a bummer but sounds like you handled it great!Had to call Ford Roadside Assist, pretty quick response too. The battery finally died at 2.5 years old and just over 11.5k. Warranty should cover all this, and then I picked up a Ford Battery Charger.

I have the 2023 version exact same truck....Had to call Ford Roadside Assist, pretty quick response too. The battery finally died at 2.5 years old and just over 11.5k. Warranty should cover all this, and then I picked up a Ford Battery Charger.

California, Washington, and most familiar to me Alaska all do and they can enforce their rules on out of state vehicles. Most states only require mud flaps on commercial vehicles. The GVWR of a ranger isn’t near anywhere being high enough to meet that requirement
I like those much better than the ones I installed because they don't leave a 3" gap between the doors.Cause I hate myself, installed these solo while downing Vietnamese coffee(which is like cocaine of coffee) barefooted in my garage.

Not perfectly aligned but I think it'll be fine. I'm starting to wonder if there's even a straight edge on these rangers...
Now to address what the in channel ones did to the "belt molding".. stupid naming ford. Anyway, yeah they're ruined.

As a ford tech no it doesn't. Ford has told us if an OEM part is not available we are able to substitute an aftermarket option. The replacement for warranty has to be Ford Approved and that isn't going to happen! It will be interesting how many hoops this turns into. I have a great Service Guy and I will wait to see what he can do.
Ford Accesories, but it's really LUND brand.I like those much better than the ones I installed because they don't leave a 3" gap between the doors.
What brand?
Happy Belated Birthday, Jake!!!Removed the old in-channel window visors.
I'm already intoxicated (Birthday, worked only half a day sue me)
So, I decided it's best to wait til tomorrow to deal with the pain in the ass stick on ones.
A ford in it's natural habitat. HUEHUEUHEUHEUHEHE
